happy for you... according to your post, when you see a Background processing change from NDVO that usually means assessments are approved and it is just a matter of waiting for DM...so if backlog are cleared could be as quick as a day, as seen for Jan and Feb applicants... hopefully since its a new year, us MAY applicants will not have to wait 3 months after BCG processing to get a DM- as our BCG has not even started!

since so many here have not been able to spend their first anniversary together, we have come to terms that that is not a possibility for us either- just better to be mentally prepared this way so that we don't get stressed. Our first anni is early March and we are late May applicants- so we have just made up our mind that that's not a possibility for us- but hopefully our BCG starts soon and we get DM right away, rather than waiting for 3+ months like our fellow April applicants. At least can be hopeful for that much!

I believe you are not well informed about your application.

If you are a july applicant how can your background check start in April.
as April 2018 has not yet started and on April 2017 your application was not even submitted.

Lol my application was started july 26 2016 , after months i got interview which was april 2017 lol and that day my background started so im aware lol

since so many here have not been able to spend their first anniversary together, we have come to terms that that is not a possibility for us either- just better to be mentally prepared this way so that we don't get stressed. hahah new gov't job- can't afford a vacation at the moment esp now when April applicants' files are moving we could be next; life is not a movie-- life is what happens in the long run anyho missing our first marriage anniversary is not a big deal for us bc we have been a couple for 8 years now haha we got this long distance thing on lock

Has anyone submitted any national identity documents apart from the passport as mentioned in the checklist? I know it’s optional, but just wanted to know.

I was thinking of the aadhar or the pan card, but it doesn’t have an expiry date. Also, does it make a difference if one doesn’t submit it?

Do you guys think the DM and PPR is based on AOR2 date instead of the application received date? Has anyone noticed any patterns?
