My wife submitted her passport on August 3rd, and it reached Delhi in a day. Nothing has changed since then. On VFS, it says it is being processed at the NDVO.

Hello everyone. I need some advice and help.

I am an Indian citizen living in the United States, and my PR application is being processed at NDVO. My background check turned to 'Not Applicable' after I submitted the FBI Clearance Certificate. My medicals expire on 29th Sept, and I haven't received my PPR yet. I am in India right now, and will return to the States on 11th Sept. I don't think I can submit my passport and get it before I travel back.

1) Should I get my medicals done again and go to the States so that I have them ready in case my application gets delayed?
2) Since I will be in the States after 11th, should I get my application transferred to an office in the US, as it is unable for me to send my passport to India when I live outside the county?

I really feel anxious about my situation now.

Any advice here would be really appreciated. Thank you!

i got a new msg today in gckey and when i checked there is a letter attached exactly same we got while passport request through email. but the date on it shows 09/08/2017.. wel i hv already submitted passport on 03/08/2017 as i got ppr thru email on 02/08/2017. what shud i do? anyone else too got same msg on gckey?
even my gckey says my application is approved and final decision is made i.e statuses r updated now

Ok. It takes 7 working days. If you submitted on Aug 3 then you will get your passport back in next 3 working days. Good luck

Hi,
I could really use some help here.

My husband is Canadian and I am an Indian.

Application for PR Spousal Sponsorship applied in February 2017.
File transferred to New Delhi for processing in April 2017.
Email received saying that file is queued for interview in August 2017.

Can anyone tell me approximately how long does it take for them to schedule an interview in New Delhi? Does it take 1 month, 6 months, a year from the time the tell you they are going to schedule it?

Please help me with the time frames as it has already been 6 months since I applied and I am worried it might take me years before I finally get to my husband in Canada.
