Hey Every one,

I am super happy

I am 16th september applicant.

I Had interview today AT 10:30 am.

officer called us in booth at 11:45 so we had to wait 1hour 15 minute

My husband (sponsor) was with me. VO was very nice. Asked only 3 questions.

1- Common law is not common In India so how we are in common law.

2- What was husband address before we moved to Nepal.

3- Can we travel before 24th June (my medical expiry)

We took lots of document with us but officer didnt ask for anything. all she asked for both of our passport.

VO and we had some laugh and she said wait I am going to stamp your passport.

So we were with officer only for 20 minutes and came out with VISA

ECAS still says in process Which I dont care anymore lol.

Hi.. I'm October 21st applicant .. medical passed before a month.. waiting for DM.. did MP inquiry and they informed my file doesn't have any problem.. anyone know how long will ndvo take to complete such simple step ??

MP inquiry always says that ur file doesnt have any problem but still it is taking too longer to process the file. We also did and MP came back with same ans. it been more than a month but no moment in file. We ordered GCMS and observed one thing, MP too call Montreal call center and people from there pass the query to NDVO and then montreal people revert to MP. MP dont speak to NDVO directly. So i dnt think it can really help. MP INQUIRY can help us to know on which stage our file is lying.

That's based on their schedule and ndvo response.. for me it takes almost 2 weeks..

Its almost been a month since it started showing "We are processing your background check." but no update so far. Even the 3rd line is not updated, dont know whats going on with NDVO!! They left Oct and older files and started working on the Dec onwards.

We requested our GCMS notes on April 27 but havent got any reply on it yet. I suppose cant do anything else than wait.

That is weird.Try doing an MP inquiry,it might help.
Yes,NDVO is super unpredictable but you will get an update by the end of this month I am hoping.

Yup.. finally realized we can't do anything to intimate ndvo processing speed.. and fairness in processing

Hello,
I had a question about the "Decision Made" status. Under "Peremenant Residence Application Status" it says 'Decision Made'. When i click on 'Decision Made' it breaks down the process as follows:
Permanent Residence

1. We received application for permanent residence on November 14, 2016.
2. We started processing application on December 19, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.

I was reading that some people had a 4th point saying a decision has been made and we will contact you shortly. Should that also happen to my status? Or should I be on the look out for a letter already? Any help would be great! The status has been such for a week now and the wait is driving me nuts!

Usually the 4th line in ECAS is added after issuing copr/visa stating application approved/completed. I have the same.
Our PP is with NDVO since last wednesday. I did get a new message today on GCkey account with a new section/table added. It contains Doc# (guessing visa or copr) with expiry date in 2018, UCI and PP #. We have not received the PP yet. VFS says in process.

Just imagine, i m Jul'16 applicant. Its been 11 months and no update so far. They changed the rules thats really good but it should have been retrospectively and have worked on old files first. What was our mistake, we are still waiting inspite of keeping the file before post Dec'16 applicants. No offence for post Dec'16 applicants but its really frustrating to see ourslf in queue for these many months and just recent applicants getting the PR. We are also desperate to meet our partners and start our lives together. Its really too hard to stay apart for these many much (almost an year)[/Q

I got a response back the same day.Really depends on the MP's office.
