Family Sponsorship would be the correct selection.

Permanent residence is for those who are applying in other categories other than family immigration

Aor2: 27 Sept 16
I am still waiting for DM. I recently lost my access on ecas and my cic at this crucial time. I have requested for restoration of access, but is there anyway that I can see the stats of my application.
N when can I expect my DM.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on July 11, 2016.
2.We started processing your application on September 7, 2016.
3.Medical results have been received. - February 22, 2016

How much more time will it take? I am currently on Visit visa (extended) and is expecting a baby on May. The baby will be a citizen automatically. So should I inform CIC about birth ? How long will it take to complete the processing? Any idea?

There is no other way to see your stats except to get back the access. Only other way is when NDVO or CIC send out the email, which is again more dependent as to when they get time. Another couple of weeks you should be expecting DMs and PPRs max 4 weeks time.

If your spouse is Canadian, then the baby is Canadian whether born in Canada or anywhere in the world. Please do inform CIC about your condition but i honestly dont see any reason according to their rules that they will expedite your case due to pregnancy. Since you are July applicant, you are in the same boat as mine, go to Mycic and check your processing stats. You are close in getting some decisions but since your medicals have expired and you are pregnant, i dont know how that plays out. Congrats on your pregnancy..
