For the first time there is no limit for gold but u should have to bring all the slips with u , and for money u can bring 10000$ in cash not more then that v

What if slips are not there. Is it ok to give proof as pic(wedding day pic) in which wearing the same jewelry.

Hi guys my wife is travelling to canada tomorrow. How much gold jewelry she can carry with her or its just whatever she is wearing. Alse please let me know what forms are required and how to properly fill them.

The idea of moving to a different country on immigration is that you get to take all your belonging with you because you are moving your life here. Make sure you read up all about it on the CIC website and about the money on the CBSA website. This way your queries are all answered. As long as you declare everything, on your first arrival on immigration, you will not be asked to pay taxes or duties. Please don't try to be smart to not disclose anything, because of you don't disclose and they find out, on every arrival after that you will be subjected to through searching.

As long as it can be proved that it's yours and has been in your possession and or family possession, you should be fine. Immigration website has information on all this. Please read up all about it and make sensible decisions. Don't end up paying penalties by not disclosing information clearly

If you want to have paper work. You can always go to the jeweller where you bought these expensive stuff and ask them to draft a ownership papers and gold stamps which all gold item will have. Or sometime people even insure their gold items, you can always show that insurance papers.

I am just trying to make this easy for all you guys wanting to carry gold. And yes there is no limit to this gold that you carry into Canada the first time you enter the country, if you can prove that it is all yours when asked.

So take pictures of all of these items and the approximate grams and make sure you have a time stamp on the picture date:time and also have images from the wedding and all to confirm that they are all yours.

When I recently made an MP enquiry - the agent confirmed that our file was on the last stage of Review of Eligibility.
Stages being eligibility of sponsorship, medicals and eligibility of applicant.

So maybe FCU-CA means that its just on the edge of going into Security Check!

Bsf186 and b4 are they both same?is Form e677 is for monetary declaration form.? Should i declare traveller cheque or dd on both th forms e677 and bsf186? Is there any other form apart from above forms for goods, gold, and cheque.
