Hello,

I am new Member of this forum, please suggest me for the following as i am in urgent need to know this

My Case Nomination received from Nova Scotia in Dec 2016 (martial Status- Single), Got ITA on 16th Dec, and submitted my docs on 28th Dec 2016 AOR 28.12.2016 (Martial Status- Single).

Now please suggest if i can do marriage as will it impact on my decision on PR??.
1.or if i receive my PR and before landing into Canada can i do marriage.
2.or i should land to Canada single and should get marry after that(I mean i will come back to India and will do marriage)
3.and if i do marriage in India, then can i apply for spouse visa from India at that time..

Hi,

June processing should start by the end of this month. Nothing earlier! There are applicants from MID-MAY waiting for their PPR and LATE-MAY are waiting for their Background Checks. So please relax and dont worry so much about the age difference and all that. Because such things matter only after you have passed your turn which will come in early FEB 2017.

I want to share timeline one of my friend spouse


Application filed : May 25,2016

Background check in progress : January 03, 2017

passport request : January 04,2017

Status : still IN process

My timeline :

Application filed : June 20,2016

Status : In process

any body has problem of medical not updated yet.

My medical section : Not needed at this time

I am really worried now. It has been more than six and half month and they still didnot update my medical.

Any advise or anybody who has same status ?

Because of the new procedure that CIC announced recently, in that procedure applicants do not need to send their PCC and Medical with the application. In this process the VO will ask for these important documents as and when they are required. That is why some of us, have their medical received and some of us have no update. If you know you have sent your medical and that you have the receipt for it. Please don't worry they will get to it when they have finished with the others in queue.

As June 20th applicant early Feb 2017 is when you might see some movements. Keep the faith!
