I need guidance for passport submission please.
My wife has two passports, one old with old last name and middle name and new one with my name as middle name and my last name.
So, do we have to submit both passports or just current?

Also, my wife has to go nearest VFS office with passport, 2 photo and PPR email copy?
Is there any form need to fill or anything else?

Just the current one. Did you update them with the new passport details before?

Unless a form to be filled is specifically mentioned or all passports are requested in the email, follow the instructions sent in the PPR email and send only PPR email copy, 2 photos and current passport.

To double check you can also call the VFS office where you plan to submit the passport/ I believe you have to pay for the courier service if you opt for one and sms service for alerts on your passport dispatch.

Others who have been through the process already can add or correct me if I missed something!

Yes I submitted copy of both passport( current and rejected) with my spousal application package.

Carry one (not sure which VFS you are going to) but in my experience (atleast the ones that I have dealt with) VFS usually provides an envelop!

Received passport request. But passport with vfs for 14 days !!!! I had sent it for TRV. Still haven't got it

Application recieved- 11th May 2016
SA approval - 1st June
AOR2 - 18th July
DM- 6th Dec
PPR- 12th dec

can CIC call for verification ?? actually tody i got 2 calls from nmbr btt now i m trying to contact that nmber.,.,that shows not a valid nmbr

Are permanent residents allowed to bring more suitcases/stuff than what is normally allowed to a passenger, since this will be a permanent move? Or, even for PR is it only 2 suitcases + 1 carry on?

Yes you can get rest of your stuff shipped but you have to make two lists(2 copies each)
1. Things with you in your bags
2. Things to follow. (stuff comming via shipment)
Cbsa officer is going to approve both lists, stamp itand give 1 copy for your stuff to be duty free. There is more info available online, just search for it.
