I submitted it to 22 nd ..most probably we should get it during this week, it is quite unusual taking so long for your case .
I will suggest you to call vfs call center. ..lets hope for best.

Try with caps lock....and exact detail on application
i was having the same problem
i wrote given name,family name and date of birth all in capital letters
city born also with caps lock on
rest it will show.......try once with the passport number, date of issue, date of expiry

I had trouble linking my app until I tried this combination:
All caps locks first and last name only, leave uci and app blank.
Enter city of birth and country also in capslock. Lastly, enter 2 in number of applicants.
Make sure you're entering ing PA's information exactly as submitted to them.

and its showing eligibility review........medical and interview not needed at this time......background and decision made not started yet

They might have asked some of input from your end, so wait for that. In case you didn't get correspondence do try to call them after tomorrow lot of PPR.

In case you get the PPR tomorrow, go ahead with Passport submission. how ever just ensure to mail /call to CIC to ensure you dont miss any thing . As of now wait for tomorrow. most probably you will get the PPR.

Question regarding the BSF186 form (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf186-eng.pdf).
Does it have to be completed on a pc or can you write everything on it by hand?
Also, if my wife is coming from India to Canada, under country of origin it would be INDIA and country of export would be CANADA correct?
Lastly, what is the real benefit of completing this form? Can you still enter without having it completed?

We have background in progress since 11 Nov (and we took a long time to get to this point as we are January applicant) how much longer till we see DM and PPR? I see some got PPR who went BG in progress even way later like 25 Nov, it seems my husbands application is slower at every step than everyone else for some reason. Could it be that he lives in Kashmir? (He's Sikh living in Srinagar). Could that be why our application has been so slow compared to everyone else on here?
