I AM MAY 25 APPLICANT. TILL DATE WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LINK OUR ACCOUNT VIDE GC KEY.

I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS. I HOPE SOMEONE WHO IS PRO AT LINKING APPLICATION'S MIGHT HELP.

I HAD NO SURNAME IN MY PASSPORT SO WE APPLIED WITH KAUR WHICH WAS IN MY GIVEN NAME " RATINDERJEET KAUR" . BUT AS PER ECAS THEY SHOW WE HAVE RECEIVED NULL RATINDERJEET KAUR'S APPLICATION ON....

SO HAVE THEY CONSIDERED NULL AS MY SURNAME SINCE WHEN I PUT KAUR IN MY SURNAME, THEY SAY NO APPLICATIONS COULD BE FOUND. REST ALL WE HAVE TRIED AND ALL OTHER DATA IS CORRECT.

ALSO USING THE UCI I HAVE RECEIVED FROM NDVO I CANT OPEN MY ECAS. SINCE MY HUSBAND APPLIED FOR MY SPONSORSHIP, IS IT THAT ECAS WILL SHOW STATUS WITH HIS DATA IN IT.

PLEASE SUGGEST HOW TO LINK TO GET DETAILS.

AND CONGRATS TO THOSE GETTING TRV AND BG IN PROCESS. HOPE THE MAY APPLICANTS GET SOME GOOD NEWS.

When you are checking your application in ecas use your full name in last name not just KAUR or NULL. example - RATINDERJEET KAUR

For Linking application
select APplication and UCI in Application details , enter both the numbers.
Make sure to enter 2 in the last box where it says number of applicants and not 1.
all other details are pretty straight forward.

I am sure its nothing to worry about. Can you do me a favor? Can you please share the pop up message when you click the question mark icon near "Final Decision" in your account?

For me it says "we reached final decision on your application....". so i am just wondering whether it is specific to my app status.

Here is what the pop says "We have reached a final decision on your application.
If your application is approved, we will send you instructions on what to do next.
These instructions will be sent to your account.
If your application is refused, we will send you the reason(s) for the refusal."

Again, this is only the help menu which tells you if the outcome is approved whats gonna happen and god forbid if its rejected whats gonna happen

Sorry to hear that, please call CIC to get an update. Both come from NDVO in an email if you have chosen the email option, and will most likely go to the PA's email or address in my best knowledge. And like i said earlier, there are some delays again on case to case basis or sometimes just lack of working schedules by NDVO. We can only assume.

Ok then, eligibility review in progress only happens in PA's home country. So that means, NDVO is lazy not to send u an update but in the background have already initialized the process for your. Good luck.

NDVO has a reputation of not sending AOR2. I never got AOR2 from NDVO either. As long as your Ecas status says that NDVO started processing the file then it should be okay.

Quick question, I wanted to confirm, if NDVO sends out an email for when they start processing the file. I got SA on the 16 and it said the file has been transferred to NDVO but I have not received any communication after that.

Also, who do they send the email too?

P.S: I do not have access to CIC account because of use of rep. and ECAS just says in progress. I just have 2 lines on ECAS

Nothing about medical or review of eligibility.

The email from NDVO will most likely go to PA. Since you dont have to access to the MYCIC, then please as your rep to forward you those emails with AOR2 info.

I did put my email and rep's email on the rep form. Also, till now the PA hasn't received any emails. Also, does ECAS ever show more info? like medical passed, eligibility in review, BG check, DM etc?

Now im thinking was using a rep such a great idea. Kinda takes all the info away.

Using a rep is a two edged sword, its helpful in many ways but the transparency is also lost. Check my signature, it has all the info which the MYcic is showing as of today. Check with your rep for the emails he has received from CIC

ECAS will not show much, not more than 3 lines now to a max of 5 when the file is completed. You can call CIC and they will say the same, please talk to your rep and since you have already appointed a rep, even CIC may or may not share the info with you. Mp assistants will say the same, your rep will have the info. OR (think about it too hard before you decide) drop your rep
