It is not mandatory. One can land in any city. PR formalities will be done at the same airport where one lands.

i have a doubt. i just got a confirmation from cic saying that they recieved my RFPR fee and that they confirmed with NDVO as well.. any idea on how long it will take for PPR? ;D

I sent my and my wife's file to Mississauga on 27 June 2016. They approved mine and transferred my wife's file to India ( New Delhi) . At CIC online it shows that they started processing her file on August 23 .
Any Idea if she will be getting background checks soon ?
