It shows my background check "in progress" since this morning! Considering that I am an Afghan citizen, does anyone have an idea how long it will take NDVO to send us ppr?

We are in the same boat. You are not alone. I got my GCMS recently. In which it mentioned that an officer recommended the eligibility to be passed and forwarded to the second officer for final decision. It also shows that the second officer is to make a final decision by 5th March 2017. My timeline is exactly what you see under my profile info.

Here is the exact wording from GCMS under eligibility assessment:
Updated date: 2017/02/03
Due date: 2017/03/05
Recommended for waiver. No adverse info in integrated search results for PA. Compatibility assessed. Satisfactory evidence of marriage is provided. PCC is on file no adverse info. File forwarded to officer for further review and decision.

So I am expecting some movement by the end of this week or early next week. Lets see.

What exactly is AOR2? I got email that my file is transferred to New Delhi for further processing. Will they send me another email when my file is received by NDVO?

I assume the email that you have received is AOR2. Where did you get the email from? Not from NDVO? If it is from New Delhi Visa office, then it is AOR2

I got email from CIC Mississauga that they transferred my application to NDVO.
