Hi guys,

My wife's application was sent to New Delhi about a week ago. We have not received anything yet. We linked our application using my wife's e-mail address using GCkey and the app. was linked successfully. But I dont see any updates. Just wondering as I have seen other similar questions, does linking your application have any effect whatsoever on the processing of your app? My understanding was that this is only so we can get quick updates on the progress and nothing more, nothing less. Thanks!

Another thing I notice at the bottom after logging is theres a section called "View Submitted Documents", do our docs that we sent appear in this section when the application has begun processing?

We applied in Nov and my SA as been approved on 1st December. Even my wife's application has been sent to NDVO but did not received AOR2. ECAS shows that application process started on Dec 13th. I am considering that as a conformation that it reached NDVO. I will give call to CIC just to confirm.

First of all, from experience if you have a representative (authorized) you can't link your application.
And now I suspect how genuine and experienced is your representative, because the query looks like your representative doesn't know that applicant can't link the application if a representative is included in the process.

If you have sent any documents to CIC. If you have or anyone related to you have given any information about you or anyone else, it must be on CIC database. To check all those info or crosshatch solely depends on the officer who processes that specific case or application.
