I was doing a lots of calculations...
2015 may june july almost over
August September October November and December not many applications so it will take two months
Will be almost over by October
Then jan feb march only a few application left to finalize
It takes a month
April application wil start getting updates December
They will take anywhere from 10 to 14 months for an application
To avoid re med i am sure 2016 application will be finalized this year end itself

If you provide email on your paper application then they will send you email. Otherwise all communication by postal mail.

Apply for GCMS and then go for your MP too. This will give you the clear picture of your file

Just heard from a travel agent frn that NDVO was going through a major upheaval/staff change and there was some strike last 2 months. I dunno how far this is true..thought of sharing here. If anyone has sources or some information please share.

I am really happy to say that my spouse got approved for TRV (on 2nd attempt). We will be together for Deepavali.

I think the key to type a Kickass cover letter and invitation letter and attach as much documents to support your claim.
I would recommend you all to try again for TRV.

I applied on Aug 5th thru online (my cic account). I got the passport submission request last monday and received passport with stamp today
