I am living in Canada as a permanent Citizen since June 2012 and i got married by May 29,2015 . I have applied for Spouse Sponsorship and the file has been received by August 20, 2016 and they started processing by September 30,2016. I received the Eligibility letter by October 20,2016 which states for the submission of the Medical Examinations too. But Now i am not getting any updates regarding the file its just showing IN PROCESS and as per the processing times it is showing as 17 months. In the meantime my wife wants to stay with me, I dont know whether is it right to bring her on a tourist visa and make her to stay until her processing is done. I am not sure about the procedure if anyone knows please help me .
