Going vfs Mumbai for submitting passport..
But had a query, is it that I have to collect passport from the office again? Or is it delivered directly at our address..

i'm sorry kite, i didn't have the same problem. like i said his passport was taken at the interview. my husband took all the proofs to the interview almost 1000 pages of stuff but she didn't take anything. the interview lasted for 4 minutes believe it or not and he got passport back in 15 days.
Maybe someone else has the same problem in this forum like you and can perhaps shed some light?
I think you should still send the photographs and mention in a note that the passport is already with them. that's just what i think. maybe other members can help you as well.

Thank you, did she took photographs during interview? VFS is not accepting only photographs. Is there any possibility to submit myself by going to new delhi?

Ya you have to go there to submitt it or you can authorize on your behaf to do the same but you need to sign authorzation letter for him/her

Aa per current applicants some of them got back their passport with in 3-4 days it also depend on vfs location how busy it is.

At VFS Mumbai if you opt for courier service it would be delivered to your home address if you dont take the courier service you have to go there asper the passport collection time and collect it providing a valid government id proof

My application got approved and I got PPR today
Here I'm posting my interview experience.Sorry for the delay in posting this due to personal matters.
My interview was on June 15th.Interviewer was a canadian lady.My husband had a 5 mins interview and mine was for 20 mins.
Mainly she asked me proofs of our traditional wedding and about the rituals.When I showed her that she was satisfied and said that she is approving the application.And then I submitted PCC.I didn't have an interpreter.
And today I got passport request.So relieved after 20 months of waiting

no dear, the VO didn't want any proof from him. my husband only gave his passport and pcc and medical. that's all.

I will wait, may be it is autogenerated email for PPR request. I submitted email to delhi immigration stating that VO has taken passport during interview with all dates, time..
