I m Nov-2014 P.Applicant. we have a baby.I also got an email on 6-May-2016 from NDVO, for DNA test(Peternity & Maternity Required). but my notes (i got in march 2016)say Interview required.
i would like to ask that If DNA test confirm relationship then interview required or not?

pls advice?

I think once it says interview required that means you've interview lined up. but not sure how it relates to DNA test. maybe others who have child and have gone through similar circumstances can shed some light. but in normal cases, once they say interview required they usually have the interview regardless.

there is one case in my consideration where couple have one baby during file processing time, and VO called for DNA and interview also...

But in DNA Test request letter VO write that If the tests confirm the relationship between you, your wife(my wife name) and your baby(our baby name), we will be in a position to proceed with the processing of your application.

ok maybe then that's how it is. i'm not 100% on this dear. I just know for regular cases. goodluck!

We all welcome your post on this forum......
As you have successfully cleared interview and done with the remedicals, you are almost reached to the end of this succusful journey for you .It's just a matter of time now .
Embassies work with external agencies who conduct Background and Security checks ,where Visa officer working on your file has no influence on the time taken to complete the checks
Once they will get clearance from the agencies ,PPR will be issued.

hey man.. my "routine background checks" took 5-7months.. so hang in there.. there is absolutely nothing you can do to speed up background checks.. I tried everything but nothing worked so i had to just wait it out

It will be 17th month on June 8 since NDVO received file and 20th month since i applied. I think they are really pushing it till the last weeks of average processing times (~17months for indian)/

actually the thing is my real uncle made a flase complaint about about my marriage he said that this is my secound marriage when they interviewed me they said three times that this is ur second marriage if u admitted that we not gonna refuse ur visa we are giving u last chance and after my interview I ordered notes and they accepted in notes this is my genuine marriage our relationship is genuine our marriage documents are genuine ruksti also looks genuine but we will do further check when u married with ur Sponser u were free that time now it's been almost 5 moths gone since my interview and as I said earlier they are doing background check what's ur opinion guys in my complicated case

I completely understand the criticality of your application,Visa officer has already approved your application ,just to verify the autnticity of your uncles letter which they received .
If everything is genuine on your side .....be rest assured your PPR is on its way ......according to the forum.....they can give a surprise visit to your house and ask for some documents ,even ask your neighbours about your marriage .
