Can you tell us what inquiry form he gave you??? online or paper copy??
This makes total sense Dimple. Because my file has been under security check for ages now (showed in progress eligibility and blank under security for a while now).

I wonder, If this is the case, how are they processing security checks and background checks of 2015 applicants faster than 2014 applicants? this is one big fkd up situation we are facing and no one gives 2-shts about our situation.

He gave us a paper copy of the enquiry form to be filled..

I am assuming that the contracted out company has changed from 2014 to 2015 year. That's why 2015 getting processed faster. The old company that has all security checks stuck in limbo (may be they don't wanna do work anymore since the company lost the contract?)

This is what the MP said.. That new companies have been allotted this task and also for the old ones, members have been changed too.. And he was clearly like the lot has somewhere been delayed coZ of this transfer from old parties to new ones..
Rest he assured us that they are looking after the complaints and asked us to wait for a month..

so I applied for notes..got reply in two days to send copy of my wife's bio page so that they can verify signatures..i sent that the very same day on march 05..after that I only received email of confirmation that they received my copy..how long it will take for notes now.

Same thing happened with me. And even I am wondering how long will it take for them to send us notes.. CoZ on the CIC website it says 30 calendar days...
I hope it doesn't take that long for them to revert back.

My husband went to local MP's office today, and the concerned MP said that there are plenty complaints already filed of applicants of September to December 2014. And due attention and action is being paid and work in this regard is in progress..
He also advised us to wait for a month as the file will be withdrawn from the cue if we fill the enquiry form that he was providing us in this regard..
Also he said that the delay is due to the external parties who do the security, criminal, background, medical checks, etc. , who have been changed recently and also there additional parties given up the verification task.. that's the reason behind this delay for the entire lot..
But already they are looking after this issue..

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope all of us receive our decisions asap!

Did visa officer looked at medical reports? I think, these questions does not make any sense to inquire about husband wife guiniun relationship.

Ki haal hai main bathindey ton Han ssa in some cases the proofs we submitted like marriage photos in that photos the couple has to look normal and happy with face impression and in outing pics the visa officers go through each pics if they are convinced then there's no need for an interview and medical assessment is valid for 15 months I have read this in an article

That's what my Ecas status shows as well. just 2 lines. except my dates are Sep 19 and processing started Nov 14. Hopefully we will get a date in a month.

Initiallily when I saw that he is a conservative MP, I had a doubt about true advice or help from him... But in Abbotsford he is the only MP..

Also he said that 17 months in our case is calculated once file reaches new Delhi.. I don't understand one thing, in 2014 initially the processing time was 13 & then 15 months.. Then why not that is the applicable processing time for 2014 applicants.. Justbin case current 17 months doesn't apply to 2014 applicants..
So damn frustrating this is!!
