For a Citizen it is different but for a PR holder it's more strict - The way I found out about this was through a friend, he had called CIC-M and that was the information provided to him. The agent said for a PR holder 2 weeks to 1 month is fine for vacation if wanting to visit spouse, anything too lengthy might cause delays or an issue down the road. As part of the application to sponsor a spouse it declares that the Sponsor must continuously show duration of time in the country - Canada.

No I am not in India. My wife is now in the US, a student and I am with her for about a month and a week.

Just recieved notes "Interview recommended", Does Overview at the bottom of the notes are the reason why they want to interview?

Because i can't see any red flag except my wife is 4 years younger than me and we are from different social background.

I think 4 years age diff is not issue.
what is overview at bottom?
There are many reason for interview. anything beyond normal. No of people at wedding. How you both look in the photo graph etc.

Is the principal applicant male or female?? And can you see any other red flag than 4 years as according to me it's not a red flag

It's extremely bad for ndvo to scheding interview 17 months after file reaches new Delhi canada embassy, iam 26 November 2014 interview recommended applicant, I am expecting interview in August -September 2016.

Hang in there ppl. Very soon all of us will get good news.lets keep our hopws high.we have waited for so long. I myself have waited and still waiting like anything. Frustration,anger ,emotions everything .we all can survive this. We are almost there.

can you please share your interview experience with us such as what type of questions were asked? how long was the interview? did you get an interpretor?

I understand your frustration. But hadn't talk to spouse in detail so couldn't post it.

Red flag was valid. Reason was previously cancelled family clsss file (parents). Brother in low cancelled bcus of ego. Sad. Mainly they asked on that. Why cancel it. Who did it. Why did it. Who knows about it? Hows the relationship between wife and sis in low.
Also asked about wife. My wife is canadian pr. About her they asked.,
where does she work?
What she works?
How she goes to work? (She take rides)
With whom she goes?howmany people in the car?
Color of the car. (Didn't know the color so told them the issue we discussed about car).
How long it takes to reach at work?
How we first contacted each other? ( answer was social media)
Were you talking to other girls on social media?
Asked what i dislike about her.
After an hour they asked to wait for 2 min outside and they gave the decision that our relationship is genuine and they will send remedical email in 24 hours. We got it in 2 hours. I hope this help. And any other questions please aksed me.

Hi, we both were surprised that they didnt even ask for albums which includes wedding album and 3 small album that contains pics of honeymoon and before wedding meetings. They took phone bills, chat history, letters i wrote to hubby, gifts bill i sent him on occasions, email screen shot, short of all paper documents they took but didnt even open it.
