Hry everyone I'm.just trying to figure out how to post here lol anways my question regarding the sponsorship of my wife. My application was submitted in may of 2013 I was approved on June 2013. They asked for my wifes passport. Few months later and than nothing for a year. After a year they asked for my fingerprints, criminal record check and details of my criminal activities. I had few charges when I was 16/17 but they all cleared after turned 18. My fingerprints were clear theres nothing on my record. It's been 29 months since my file was submitted still nothing.. It's been over 2 months since my submitted my criminal record documents.. I got my.mp to get me an update.. Reply he got was under extended back ground checks... Can someone please help..how long will they or anything thank uu

please help me guys......please tell me what can I do to speed up the process....please help

It is indeed taken this long due to the background checks =order the notes which will give you more insight into the comments from the visa officer and do an online inquiry directly. I dont think if you are part of the New Delhi visa office which is this thread I suggest you post in the pertaining thread for your visa office.

I think you are in the wrong thread, looks like you are an PNP applicant and this is a family sponsorship thread.

Ours story is also similar to yours.
Even though we did re-medical again and sent out the document we got letter again for reassessment of medical on Dec 8th.
I contacted the MP Office. I gave proof of speed post receipt.
Even for MP office they responded saying they haven't received any medicals from us.
I had order notes from CIC couple of months back which clearly says they received my medical. I send out this proof to MP office.
Next day MP office received response saying they have all the documents to process the application.
They are doing so many mistakes even when MP office making enquiry. Just guess how they would treat the common man like us.
No wonder the processing time in New Delhi office is 17th months as they make people to run in circle even when mistake is theirs.

just posting my experience regarding medicals. my husbnd is a dec 8 ,2014 applicant and his medicals are valid till march 8, 2016. in nov 2015 he got request for another medical, email stating " ur file has reached the point where we need ur medical" smthing like that. we were super worried as y thy didnt get his medical yet. so he went to the physician and phiysician showed him his name in the database and also advised to send the hard copy of emedical info sheet and send email to ndvo as well. aftr sending them i did mp enquiry. and just right now i got a call from mp saying that ndvo has recived the medical and its valid till march 2016. furthermore physician told us tht this usually happens bcx of the miscommunication among deprtmnts.
so whoever gets the medical request wen the medical is still valid .. just consult ur physician and then mp. hope it helps.

Hi we got remedical request yesterday to do x ray and all that stuff, I guess its the same generic email they sent to everyone.

Our case went to in process in middle of August and our original medical is expired now. My question is My wife is 8 months pregnant, so we will not be able to complete medical as it stated in above email. Where can we contact NDVO or if anyone is in same pregnancy situation let me know how they did the medical??

There are quite a few Nov applicants waiting for re-meds and after re-meds. We are waiting for almost 11 weeks since re-meds and havent heard back, yes case is different and it varies from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Hey Mateen,

We should get the notes sometime next week and we have done a case specific inquiry plus send an email to the Delhi email address but I dont think we will receive a reply.
I had contacted the MP last week and all she said was this was normal to wait after the re-medicals and there is nothing to worry about - I was a bit hestiant to accept that but she said she will follow up with me next week.

We had done a MP inquiry in Oct and was said everything is in place and should hear back by June 2016 - obviously that's the entire 17 month process.

Im July 2014 got in Progress on August 26, 2015. Nothing since then. My Mp wont even do MP Inquiry before 17 Months.
