hey guys, we are also waiting after re-med done in late october.

what is MP inquiry that people are talking about? please verify so i can do the same.

this is too frustrating as someone told me they are putting all the immigration cases on hold because of syrian refugees (25000). they are priority until february. i hope that person is wrong.

Whhhhhhhhaaaaaatttttt God I hope this is wrong!!! They should have a different team working on the Syrian refugees. :'(

Guys, i got PPR today. Finally one month after getting DM.
We will be submitting passport tomorrow and hope to get it back in Week.

Finally I will be done with this long process.

Surprisingly my PPR came day after my MP Inquiry. I had mp inquiry yesterday and today i got PPR.

Congrats! My new MP doesn't want to reply to any of my emails yet. And the http://www.parl.gc.ca page for my area MP is not updated yet. How long does it take for the MP to setup office? It has been 3 weeks since PM was sworn in.

We finally received medical REASSESSMENT request from DELHIMEDICAL/MEDICAL@international.gc.ca. The email asked a panel physician to perform Chest Xray only and directly send the results to DELHI.MCREASSESSMENT@international.gc.ca.

I have some urgent questions:
1) The 'Visa File Number' mentioned in the medical reassessment request email is different from our actual file number. Is it normal for NDVO to use a new file number for medical reassessment?
2) As my wife is pregnant now she will NOT be undergoing chest xray for reassessment. Can we directly email NDVO and say so, or only a panel physician can inform NDVO that xray will not be done until delivery?
3) What are the chances that NDVO could extend the original medicals (expired Sep 2015) and waive the reassement request after knowing that xray will not be done for now?

Not sure why the hell they waited 3 months after original medicals expiry to ask for medical reassessment!!!

Can anyone please confirm which email address they received re-medical request from? Also, was the file number mentioned in the re-medical request different from the actual spousal PR application file number?

Draxz, we got remedical request same day as you and we submitted it next day.
I suggest you do mp inquiry too. It seem like this is one way of expediting process.

Oh now I remember and I hope you getting it is a good sign and congrats once again.

one of my ****** (not a friend) told me he knows few people who work in ottawa immigration office and another who holds a high post in the police department. And he also said there was something about that in toronto star saturday nov 21st edition in world section. but i can't confirm that. so I reallllly hope he has it wrong.

So far it has been about 3 months since in process. I don't know the average days from in process to decision made on the 2014 New Delhi spreadsheet since the data which calculate the average days is invalid for some reason. So I'm not sure when I should apply for a MP inquiry. I should probably wait till you get a reply from your MP before I apply. Ill probably wait till new years before applying for MP inquiry.

Cheer up! I am suffering from the same thing. Just wait till you order your notes, hopefully this time interview will be waived completely. If that's the case then there's a chance you might get decision made by the end of this month or next.

Hai friends,
I spoke to my areas M.P and its right about syrian refugees. They are focusing to issues visas to them thats why all the immigration files are getting delayed. The news is true but. I think thats y we are not hearing any updates.
