I have my ticket booked for tomorrow to return to india for work so I'm going to go back and submit the passport in Delhi and return in Jan.
I fly out to India tomorrow and I got DM & PPR today!

Hi Tinnygirl, congrats.. Did you informed CIC while you were in Canada. My wife is coming in the end of this month. Should I update her contact details to NDVO?

my intution is tht new immi minister is taking up on 4 nov so thy r clearing off the pending ..mostly backlogs till oct 2014 (i m guessing it) if thats the case , the ppr rain will continue till tomorrow

No kidding. Its nice to see people getting DM/PPR, but I really wish ours would come too. Its so frustrating!

We've been IP for nearly 3 months now, with no re-medical request. Ordered the notes, and got them on Thursday...interview waived, RCMP criminal check cleared, and they sent our re-medical request back in September, which we never received.

I sent them an urgent e-mail explaining what the situation is, but now we have to wait another month just for them to respond.

Stupid system, honestly. A delay of over 2 months for absolutely no reason at all. Waiting to hear back from our MP...

Oh my god.. I can understand... How bad and frustrating situation is for you. It's just a gambling game...God only knows when this pain will come to an end.

Hi All,

I have been following this forum since a long time and has really helped me through my process. I have an urgent query, would really appreciate if someone could answer me:

I am an Indian citizen but resident in the UK (My husband is the citizen of Canada and is the sponsor). My application (family sponsorship) was sent to the New Delhi visa office. Now I received the PPR email this morning but since it is a standard computer generated email so they havn't mentioned anything about residents of other countries.

What should I do? Should I sent my passport to VFS in India by post? Or in the UK?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Congratulations!

If you are resident in UK and have a valid status , you can send your Passport to VFS London. But if you are just visiting UK, You can send passport to VFS, London. Email or a computer generated letter need not be signed physically. ;D ;D Congratulations once again.

Just want to say this forum has been the biggest support in this long waiting process. 17 months was a long time and if you guys were not there, don't know how I would have pass this time. Thank you each and everyone of you for all your help and guidance.

Haven't slept last night after getting the news of ppr at midnight and still awake in the office. People around me are staring to know why I have a a wide smile on my face.

I need to calm down but no idea how? Any suggestions. I am way tooooo excited lolz!
