I GOT MY WIFE SHINY VISA WITH PASSPORT THANKS FOR UR REPLY SCOLAR .AS PER UR ADVICE MY WIFE SUBMITTED PPT ALONG WITH NOTE SAYING I AM 3 MONTH PREGNANT ON 2 SEPT 2015 AND SHE GOT PPT BACK WITH SHINY VISA ON 08 SEPT 2015 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.


FINALLY OUR LONG WAIT OF 13.5 MONTHS IS OVER AND WE GOT OUR PPT AND NOW MY WIFE WILL LAND IN CANADA AND DELIVER TO OUR BEAUTIFUL BABY WHO WILLBE CANADIAN CITIZEN AS SHE IS JUST 3 MTH PREGNANT ...WE WENT TO MAHALAXMI TEMPLE FOR THANKS AND HAD A PARTY WITH MY HUBBY WHO IS INDIA ON VISIT AND NOW WILL TRAVEL SOON

I got PPR mail on 31st Aug and my wife is staying with me in Canada. I sent my wife's passport on the same day and it reached CPC-Ottawa on 1st Sep. Until now return envelope is not activated. Does anyone know how long it will take for Ottawa office to send the passport back? Because I can see people sent via VFS in India got their passports back in 4 to 5 working days. Can anyone let me know ?

Question: my husband live in jalandar. Does anyone know what he has to bring with him beside ppr letter, 2 photos and current passport? Is there any cash money or charges apply? If yes. How much? I had paid all the landing fee which was $1,040.00 cad with the application when i applied. Your information will kindly help.

I hope this helps:

Check lists at the time of immigration: (2 copies)
Pass port with visa stamp
Copr papers (xerox copy )
B4 and b4a forms (VALUE AND TOTALED)(2 copies of list items accompanying and list of goods to be followed) fill it and get it printed
3 Passport size Photographs
Need to take the photos of jewellery, silvers (2 copies)
Bills of each article. (Silver and gold) (2 copies)
Pof ( cash,draft,latest bank statements) if any
Address application form that will be provided at the airport

Make 2 copies of the b4 form

Fiza. Make sure your husband to bring all the update proofs. Whatapp chat, phone bills and 2nd trip you made after wedding boarding pass, tickets, photos of 2nd honeymoon. Be calm, confidents and honest. He will be fine. If they need, they will call you so stay tune on the day of his interview.

How long did they interview your husband? Did they call you during the interview? I have started getting very nervous for him. We have got this chance after such a long wait, I just hope things go well and VO taking interview is nice enough to issue him the visa on same day

If your husband is bringing any money bring it as a DD and declare it to immigration officer. There is no restriction on amount he can bring since he is coming to Canada for the first time. This is the time when he can bring in any goods from INdia( gold/ jewellery) etc. The custom restriction of maximum amount of ($700) won't apply to him since he is an immigrant and moving to Canada.

If it says "review" under Eligibility Assessment, this would indicate they haven't started looking into it.

No need to worry. Last week of October applicant are getting in process. I can assure you by next week they should start November applicants. Since you're a November 12 applicant, you'll properly hear something in about 2-3 weeks from now.
