So You would agree that i visited my wife and there has not been any news about my wife file ( which is 8 months+ ) . I should send tickets|passport | photographs to NDVO?

I was trying to be more cautious where they haven`t asked me to provide more documents and i am sending more documents. which can raise more suspecion and make my situation worst.

Although i am very clear with your point that sending more documents helps.

I fully agree we have to send enough documents the first time around but I would be cautious sending any additional documents without being requested. The general consent is its not recommended unless they requested since it raises a flag - I had visited my wife twice already this year and wanted to send additional photos, tickets etc but senior members suggested not to.

"remember what you may consider to be a "red flag" or an "issue" may very well not even be a concern for the visa officer reading the application. there's no point in offering up unnecessary information that can cause the officer to wonder why you are sending more proof when it wasn't even request."

8-9 months see to be the sweet spot on applicants getting any update on the file of course people have to wait a bit longer, since you are there now I wouldnt be worried. You can order the notes and do a MP inquiry.

Yep i have similar thoughts going in my head so i decided to ask on this forums. By the way, well put. Being patient is important here. I decided not to send any documentation to NDVO unless it`s been requested of me. .

Thank you for helping me and you clear all doubts that i have in my mind. I think application process time has gone up and that`s all there is to it. Sending more documents without officer`s request won`t do any good to my situation unless it`s requested.

Hi draxz! That's right, I've got ip update n Medicaid have expired too.
I'm too anxious right now as Iv not received any remed request and its freaking me out a bit more every passing day..

I don't even know if I should feel happy with the ip update as they've changed their processing style. Trying to stay positive as much as I can but on some days it sure gets difficult.

All the comments on the link are opinion of different people and not the fact.
There is no compulsion to provide more info if you were not asked. But that doesn't mean its desperation. Desperation is where they reject your application and keep applying again and again especially in case of visitor visa. I have applied for student visa, PR, renewal of PR, citizenship application, visitor visa for parents on my own without lawyer. Many time I have sent info without asking with no adverse effect. As long document you are send doesn't incriminate against you and decision is not made on your application, it wont have adverse effect. Many people have given re-medicals to VO without request during their interview, which were appreciated and accepted by VO.
If you want of play waiting game you can do so, but in the case they request anything, add 1-4 month to your timeline.

I am also a Nov applicant. My status is still AR/ MR.
it ll be 10 months on this 25th. Don't know how much more time it will take. On 31st Aug it was our 1st wedding anniversary and and thanks to NDVO we were not able to celebrate it together. Its getting frustraing.
Last year one of my cousin applied his wife's file in July and they got visa within 6 months that's in January. And it was his second marriage. It's all luck I guess.

Are you sure he was July 2014 applicant. In spread sheet more ppl have got in process in Feb 2015.
Was it applicant's second marriage or sponsored second marriage or second marriage for both?

please tell what is difference between file transfer date and AOR1 ?
how we know about file transfer date? because i don't know what is file transfer date?
NDVO calculate 17 months processing time with them according to AOR date or FILE transfer date.
