Hi guys,

Congratulations to everyone with fresh updates on their applications. I have a few queries and would appreciate anyone who can help me get some clarity on the same:

A lot of people specially October applicants got in process in August. A few days back, some senior forum members posted a cic link which states this is their new procedure/process. While I myself am one of the applicants who have received in process, I don't know whether it is a good sign or not. Is my file actually in process n ndvo has really begun work on my file or is was the in process update on the Ecas just a new procedure they're following. My in process date is my AOR2 date.

Secondly, few applicants have started receiving remedical requests.. Can you pls share when ur Medicals expired n when did u get the remed request. I'm asking this as my Medicals have expired in July and iv not yet received a remed request.

regarding the In-process my guess is they are working batch wise every month we get IP and then If background check is okay followed by re-meds. From the date of in process if everything is fine then within few weeks will get re-meds. stay positive...we all crossed more than 10 months so probably things will move in a gud path. gud luck

I received remed request after 15 days of expiry. Hope you get yours soon, or even better than that, get DM directly.
Well, I, too have mixed feelings about this "In process" trend lately.
At the same time, I'm thinking this could be the real "In process" coz it has been 10 months now that we have applied for PR. But again, it could just be new trend of acknowledging our files.
Anyways, let's hope it's all good that is happening. We've waited long for good things to come.

when we consulted a lawyer about this In-process thing....she said its nothing to worry much because....when VO opens a file...background checks will be done and then if medicals is expired they will send us re-meds request...so we must see this as a good sign that finally they opened our files after 10 months. very soon we will be getting gud news .

Not Getting Re-medical request makes me:
1. very happy, as i believe they will issue me Visa by extending my expired medical
2. very sad, as i believe they have put my file on the side and started working on others

NDVO is making me experience feelings, which i thought i would never go through atleast in this lifetime.

Sunny, I think you should opt for "feeling number one" and be happy instead. I don't see why they would put your file aside and work on other files. Let's just pray and be positive!

Urgent help needed shed some light guys
my husband did stay in canada for a while in 2011. So we already submitted RCMP check fingerprint based with our application. Now he again got a call and email to appear for fingerprints at CHC dehli. Does we really have to go through this again? Will it delay our application even more. I am fed up its 15th month already

Does on ecas shows decision made first or it show we have sent you correspond regarding our dm. Pls delay mails for ppr. Does anyone know anything. Does ppr has 30days given or 60 days given to submit passport? My lawyer kept on telling me he will get no emails only my husband will get ppr by post man. What is the truth? :-[

We get scan copy of pages as a notes . This notes give us detaile information what job are done on our file which job are pending. We can apply for notes after the 8 or 9 months of apply for sponsor .

don't worry u gonna get a letter may be in week and immigration send letter to applicant directly not to lawyer or representative.

Hang in there we are an Oct 28th applicant and got transferred on the 19th of Jan. If you notice the bulk of the IP updates for Oct were the first two weeks and I am sure they are already processing the remaining two weeks in Oct and first two in Nov and in the next wave of updates our ECAS should get updated as well.

It's thr call ..may be thy don't have tym .Anyways avoid them n majority of our seniors thankfully guide us with thr experiences . Anyways Ndvo shd provide that constant update which thy r not doing so y expect from others

immigration people always send letter to applicant cz i heard so many times lawyers or consultant even doesn't know that their client got visa. but it doesn't happen in those case whom consultant or lawyers have branches in india and they give their address for mail so applicant is only being informed by their lawyers or consultant. so if on ur application has ur indian address for mail then it should be fine.
so don't worry be positive
