My Ecas is "In Process" and the status is as follows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on October 17th 2014.
2. We started processing your application on Feb 2nd 2015.
3. Medical results have been received
4. We sent you medical instructions on August 21 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


I think I had only 3 lines and now I have four, but I'm not sure.

Does this mean anything more than what's given?

Can I expect PPR soon?
Senior members, what happened to your file after you had this update?

finally it says decision made.. sent PP to Vfs// says in the tracking.. they sent it back today...thanks god.. waited exactly 13 months... not bad.. huh.. wishing u guys all the best:_

I have the same doubt, even i am looking out for more information on work permit. If I can apply for one through my company while my PR is in process or no. Let me know if you find any information on this.

Meanwhile, I read about open work permit in the cic website and thought it applies for outland applications as well and I applied for an open work permit. but it got rejected. it turns out that the open work permit option while your PR is in process is applicable only for inland applicants. I read in one of the sites that outland applicants can apply for work permit but not open work permit. Even I am searching for more information on this.

There is no work permit or open work permit issued for outland applicants and only applies to inland.

We are in interview que as per my notes, I have two due dates in my notes, one in eligiblity and the other one in medical.

Medical expired already in July begining and due date in medical is end of September 2015. Any idea what is medical due date four????

Why has the status of my immigration application on CAS not changed, even though I sent it a long time ago?

Client Application Status (CAS) may not show some activities on your file for many weeks. That is because the visa offices and the case processing centres get a lot of information.

Hey did u send that e medical paper to embassy???or just drs will send the report..and we don't need to send that paper???

Everything related to the medicals/re medicals is sent by the doctor and we don't have to do anything. My wife was told that the reports will be sent within 3 days. Plz correct me if I am wrong !

yes! i was informed by doctor that re-meds takes only a day to reach. does it really takes 2-3 months for ppr after re-meds??
