Yes it looks like a trend alright lots of newer applicants are getting IP and its not just NDVO look at this thread.

We can assume the visa offices wont skip an entire year and work on newer applicants

Guys, few days ago I was super happy about gettin "In process" thinking that our wait is almost gettin over. But now, reading the thread about "In process" in ECAS, I don't know how to react. I want to be positive but I fear for the worst, the waiting game once again.

I am also a October Applicant. I haven't received anything from them. Don't worry you'll get something soon by the end of this month or next month, New Delhi should clean their backlogs.

I hope I get in process soon and also I hope ndvo will not go to sleeping mode again

Only people whose status had already changed to "In-Process" are receiving the 3rd line update with the date.

No one NEW has gotten In-Process today as per the forum posts (unless I missed it).

Also, I see many oct./nov. applicants still AR/MR (2014 spreadsheet and whatsapp group). So don't worry you guys will soon get in-process too.

Actually i guess its not the right tym to decide abt that two kinds of in process thg I.e for sep- dec n june 2015 .

Might be ndvo are working as per thr target numbers ..

We can get clear picture of the puzzle once people start getting ppr

Hi Guys

Am currently here in Canada on a TRV.
On June 11th my file Changed status to IP. A month later I got a request for :
1. Re Medical
2. Travel History Info form.
3. Background declaration form - IMM5669

Before I left India, I got re medicals done, now, I just submitted the UMI number, which was issued by the hospital.
The other documents were also compiled and I couriered all the requirements on Saturday, it's gonna reach NDVO tomorrow.

I have been reading every post here and wish to clarify on a few points:
1. Not everybody with a second marriage is queued for an interview. Ours is a second marriage and we had submitted 12 marriage pics along with our application and in the first GCMS notes, our relationship was established as genuine. The second notes also confirms the fact.

2. There was no interview recommended for us.

3. As per the second GCMS notes, Criminality and Security check has not been started.

4. We had done an MP enquiry ,even this aspect is listed in the GCMS notes. (All in all 44 pages notes )

Now that the additional documents are submitted, we too are keeping our fingers crossed in respect to the next move from NDVO.
Am returning to India in November, hoping to hear from NDVO with a PPR.

Hi guys.. my wife recieved a remedical request today. In addition a third line has also been added about the proceeding date.. The email for the remedicals read as follows :

Dear xxxxxxx


The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for yourself:

1.Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
2. Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
3. Duly completed Re-assessment Form (in PDF/word)..

Can anyone please tell me that the forms are to be filled by the doctor or we have to fill them.. any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks !

Yep very few left from aug sep. btw did u apply for notes? and ur medicals must have expired did u get the remedicals request yet?
My medicals expired on aug 3rd no request till now

nothing to worry about it. two days back i did my re-meds. we got to do simple things like copies of passport, original passport, passport size photos, copy of re assessment form. that's it...everything else will be filled by the doctor.

I am Dec 31st, 2014 applicant. My PR status is still AR/MR and my husband is a canadian citizen. You mentioned you are in Canada right now on a TRV. Even i want to apply for a visit visa so that i can visit my husband for sometime. I am currently working in India. I have the below questions, could you please help me with them?

1. If i apply for a Visit visa, are there any chances of rejection since my PR is in process? If yes, how can I avoid rejection?
2. Will a rejection for visit visa affect my PR in any way?
3. Apart from visit visa is there any other visa that i can apply for? Like work permit or anything?
4. What did you mention in your visit visa and how long did you get it for?
5. I have read that the immigration officer decides the duration of the stay in canada, in that case how can I plan to book my return tickets? Is there a possibility where if i book my return tickets for 3 months after I visit Canada and the immigration officer gives me the visa only for 1 month?

I am a dec 31st, 2014 applicant.. even i am waiting for my status update it is AR/MR since March. Trying to be positive hoping for a status update at the earliest.

Hi rambopg,

I am a dec 31st applicant. My ecas status is AR/MR since march. Is it early for me to apply for GSCMS notes? Is there any minimum time frame that i have to wait to order the notes? And does ordering the notes have any effect on my PR application?
