We are a while away before we hear anything. We got SA in Jan and are still waiting and from the trend we should hear back in June/July

Also I see there is a Whats App group for spouse applications. Could some one please add me on that '+1-780-881-3044'.

I see alot of frustration and I'm in the same boat. Find it really unfair that we have to wait so long to be with our spouse. I really hope we all get our approvals ASAP so as to start our lives with our better halves.

How can I contact New Delhi medical centre that they received my medical and submitted it to the CIC website? London visa office asked me many times to submit my medical in order to update my file but i have done it and they keep asking me. I have done my medical in Islamabad on April 21, 2015. Thanks

I spoke to the doctor and she agreed to do without passport. Only photocopy and mail from NDVO is required. Thanks

You got DM in March. Can't they just send you the visa. They are wasting money and time asking for medicals again.

has anyone in the forum applied for a visitors visa while their passport was still with NDVO? is it possible to do that giving an explanation that the passport is already with them? Those A#%#)$_ took my husbands passport way back in 2013 and still have it...now trying for a visitors visa/
if we do call for the passport back what email id do we email them at? They take so long to reply

I don't have an answer to your question but yes it won't be possible to apply for visitor visa without passport. I Think it should be against to hold on to passport for more than a year. Knowing NDVO they won't reply to emails.

I would recommend to go public, contact media house with your story as that would be the only way to get your passport back and of course with visa stamp. There cannot be any reason to hold on to passport for so long. There has to be a way where you can file case against NDVO.

I know of one such story where a person got hold of someone whose passport was send to somebody else and to hide this mistake from media NDVO were on their knees. They can do anything to not be in bad limelight!

Hey Rhomank - I second Fiza. Besides the suggestion that I gave you via PM you can use CBC's GoPublic channel (Kathleen Thompson is the reporter) and see if it helps your cause. This is really absurd and abuse of power by NDVO. Try emailing them or send the application along with proper documentation stating that your hubby's pp is with NDVO (when your hubby applies for TRV) and if that does not work out then gopublic can be your other alternative.

NDVO really sucks yo..!!
They are giving TRV in 6 days. They are giving student visa in 2 month.
Nd they are taking 16 months to clear spousal visa. Even they should try to reduce time to get family together as soon as possible. But it really sucks. We should do something against NDVO. Guys do something.
