minimum 10 months. average 11-12 months for year 2014-15 new delhi visa office for spouse applicants. Last year 2013 was around 8-9 months.

I've been waiting for more than a year to get my PR(spousal sponsorship) now. The last I heard from them was in February 2015 where they asked me for copies of my passport, front & back - is this typical?

The only complication in my case was that I was living outside India (NRI), until last month where i left my job & came back to India in anticipation of my immigration to CA.


Anyone sailing the same boat? Any comments?

I have 6 pcc attached to my file i dont think it is an issue till everything is legal on your file

There are lots of people who got the visa within 8-9 months.....my friend last year ; he filled the sponsership in march and in november his wife was here....same 3 case happend with my friends.....

I received Passport request dated 31-03-2015 and I sent Passport on Dated 01-04-2015 trough DTDC Courier and Passports Delivered on Dated 02-04-2015 but till dated i did not received back my passports. somebody told me that CHC did not accept Couriers they only accept though VFS.

Now What I do

Yes thy dont accept courier.. you have to go personally to submit your passport nearest VFS global

It's nothing like that 90% are people here providing wrong
Information here . They are accepting couriers too lots of my friends got
VISA after submit passport by courier . One month is maximum time from new
Delhi visa office . No need to worry about that .
It's humble request plz update truth related things here . People are already suffering
From wait and distance from love ones .
