What's the next best step that I should be taking ??

Am wondering as to how to draw the attention of the Immigration officials ??

Hi everyone,

I have an urgent question for you all. My spousal application is from Afghanistan but processed at New Delhi. My spouse got the passport request e-mail asking her to submit it via VFS. However, she should've been asked to submit the passport in Islamabad. I spoke to my MP and MP agreed with me but didn't know what to do about it. Can you please advise me on what to do? Passport was requested on March 4 and I only have 30 days to submit it.

I am sure they made a mistake, contact them by sending them case specific email and let them know that you got an email to send passport by vfs while you are in Afghanistan and cant be done this, also contact Islamabad and ask them that you have received this particular letter and beleive to be a mistake and willing to send passport to Islamabad.

Guys what do we do on our applications? any other plan to get this to the visa officer's attention?

I came through one post saying that the Visa offices slow down in Feb and pick up pace in mid March..If so and the stats are trusted, then I hope we will get something good to hear soon. This life have been through multiple wrong happenings...Hope God and NDVO listens to us...

Yes fingers crossed... I heard that they are currently working on backlogs... Air news and no other genuine inquiry/research i made...hope people who r waiting get their visas soon..Please NDVO give us our visas soon.

No ...we thought to apply for ATIP notes..I heard you did it?..Did u get any response? can you tell me how i can do it? 8)

hi deep ..what does your eligibility section says? Is it your 1st gcms notes? Any red flags.thanks

How about jan-may applicants getting visa first than all the months who applied later..???

I daily see people from june - august talking about their AR/ MR and status ....and on and on !!!!

Does anyone ever think what happens to people like us who have applied before you and we hear continuous whining for next month applicants ...

may be I am not justified in my irk or anger but sick and tired of people who just come here and keeps saying hamara kya ho raha hain ? god damn it some of june applicants have ppr or dm same for july and august so stop whining !!!

think about others as well who are living in hope that today our status will change.

Dear AMOP... we r the same bunch of people who hope today or tom our status will change. We are here to support each other and get to know wht is happening. U too can share whatever u wish..it is an open forum...u, the forum, the people r in a democratic country and not in china!!

Well if you use to whine and chat before what is making you stop now. This forum is for moral support, everyone has the right to whine or complain despite what month they applied in. If you like to reply to the person with supportive words then go ahead if not please ignore and move on!!!! If June or July applicants are whining it could be because many of June n July applicants have got their ppr, that gives all of us hopes and thirst to get ours too. So instead of putting the users down who are sharing their thoughts and feelings, pray to God with your applications others get there too. Thanks!!

Rightly said VM... as something unusual happens people and infact AMOP will whine... ask and take take suggestions AMOP...dont complain...

Yes notorious...I would be atleast 40% happy if i would get atleast In process than the usual AR/MR, being applied a day before u!!... guess we dont have the right to be happy..:-(

In addition to signing the petition, can we stage a "Silent Protest" outside NDVO and invite local representative of "The Globe and Mail - http://www.theglobeandmail.com/" and perhaps a local channel to cover it? We can also present a copy of the petition to the High Commissioner there.

This is good and to all gather is a difficult task...

Now July applicants, anyone did a MP inquiry? Guys please suggest...is it good to do MP inquiry at this time when a July 11 applicant got his passport back with visa and I being an July 15th applicant, still seeing the same AR?MR screen? Is applying for ATIP is better or MP inquiry?

Also let me know if any 'magic words/ lines' which have worked earlier to some make the MP to likely give us an update.
