Dear member I am new to this forum. I want ur esteemed guidance. Is it possible that the sponsor(PR holder)s living in India can file sponsor papers of his wife from India or he will have to go to Canada for filling such papers. I shall be highly obliged.

If you are a PR card holder you must be in canada to sponsor your wife or husband till you receive AOR. If you are a Canadian citizen then you can apply from India

As per guide there is no information about what or if anything should be written on the back side of photos. Are you submitting your passport via mail or in person? If you are submitting in person then you can ask them at the time of submission.

In the PPR mail ....they will be mentioning about what should be written at the back of the passport pic. Like one should write the name of the photo studio ..date of which the pic was taken or stamp of the photo studio .

My wife says that immigration officer verify all the information mentioned in landing papers. Just be confident when you answer when they ask.

My wife file is in ndvo since august and its in ip sincr jan 24 2015..when can i get any good news from ndvo i am really frustrated as it was my anniversary and i am alone out here.

hi i got my ppr on jan 20'2015 and we sent the passport on the same day and they recieved it on 24 jan'2015 since then there is no update on our application.
please can any1 tell me how much time ndvo is taking to send the passport back.i had sent through speedpost.

Hello,

I am not sure if this is the thread I was discussing about an address change my wife had sent via the case specific enquiry to the NDVO last week and we got this reply.

It says and key things to note:

"Thank you for your e-mail informing us that your address has changed. Please be advised that we require the applicant's signature, or the signature of the applicant's authorized representative, in order to update the address on a file."

"Kindly note that your current mailing address stands unchanged and your e-mail request has been deleted. The change will only be made after we receive a request signed by the applicant or the authorized representative. We will not confirm receipt of an address change request by mail/ e-mail received at this office but the file will be updated."

"Also note that a change of address submitted to a visa office will NOT be reflected on the online Client Application Status system."

Thanks Guys for your warms wishes. MY hubby submit his passport to VFS Jalandhar. they asked you 1100rs, two recent photographs,printout of your passport request and of course your passport.

application received in delhi on july
first pcc request letter on august 12( normal post)
ip since dec 11
dm on jan 16
got ppr letter on jan 24(post..i dint give email) (normal post)
send --passport reached to ndvo on jan 31(through normal courier)
got passport back on feb 13 afternoon (registered post)

Thats pretty neat.. congrats.. Awesome to know that NDVO contacted you through post... We after giving email address also are seeing the worst response case. Do not know when we get the email..
