My ECAS still showing "In Process" status though I have received PPR on last Friday.

Its better to do it while doing immigration at the port. You just have to let immigration officer know that you need your husban's last name on PR card. that's it

I have been strictly advised as under:

"Please do not ask the officer at the port of entry to change applicant name. The officer may refuse to land applicant and have her return everything to New Delhi for re-issuance before landing applicant come back to land. "

Does NDVO send sms to applicant when they send the passport back? And it was sent through Blue Dart, its been 11 days. Does anybody know if they do?

VFS does but you would need to register for service and there is a little fee to that.

Call cpc mississauga and give them your reciept number they will let you know what you paid for and what your are left paying.

i called CIC,since the fee required is $1040,and I paid $1100, they said itsokay, they will deduct the necessary amount and refund me the balance later... they also suggested that I should attach a cover letter with the receipt.
