My wifes file was received in jan 2014 and its in process from 29aug since have no updates.....its not fair......i feel like i did the biggest mistake of life by coming to canada as a student.....first 4 years i had to go thru my immigration now it has been 1 year allready for my wife and i dont know how many more i have to wait.....

Ok so after going through forums from 2012/2013/2014 it seems like even if your file goes on in process it doesn't matter you still gotta wait. I just don't understand why each file takes so long to get processed in New Delhi? So far I have understood that the fact is you have to 8-10months to a year and maybe even 15 months to see you spouse. They aren't giving out any PR to sponsor parents/grandparents anymore and closed that category. If this is the case, shouldn't spouse sponsorship be more faster? You can't even communicate to anyone in New Delhi? Why? We pay for their service, we give all our information but still they get online and they add more years of wait for spouse sponsorship? I applied during the time when it showed 13 months online and in a couple of months it's changed to 15 months? I have my daughter who longs to see her daddy!! It's just so hard and why should they make this process ever so painful for genuine married couple? I hope and pray that Allah gives us all the strength to pass this ever so crucial period of time and hope that they make this process easier for our kids future spouses. No one should have to go through this pain.

Rightly said Arika...Applying correctly, without mistakes, files transfer, no clear date to when they will process our application, no visibility as to what is happening even after paying over 1000 dollars!! that's a pathetic state of a Visa office. Wish they were organised.

Hello everyone,

We got our SA and are waiting for AOR from the NDVO, we noticed that the address on the applicants side is slightly incorrect.

Do we submit a case specific enquiry for NDVO or have to change it here with CIC.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi..For me too they have spelled a word in my address incorrectly. I have sent them a proof along with a request for change. VIa email and through post. Its been a long time, almost 4 months, they haven't corrected and displays the same in the website!

never possible,mostly people share their timelines after getting AOR, After few day you will find so many nov applicants. dont worry

i guess you r right.... everything has slowed down these days,

i applied in november i just didn't put it on the excel sheet i sent my file Nov 19 and they haven't looked at it yet. maybe they will get to it at the end of february

good luck... yeah on average they r taking 3 months for SA these days,,, so u should be getting update soon

same here dude, I am also so frustration, I am taking out my frustration on my hubby
