I have checked their website

My status has changed today, it look like this

1.We received null MY NAME application for permanent residence on June 6, 2014.

2.We started processing null MY NAME application on January 10, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on null MY NAME application. The office will contact null MY NAME concerning this decision.

but before they update Decision Made status today, it look like this:

1.We received MY NAME application for permanent residence on June 6, 2014.

2.We started processing MY NAME application on January 10, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.

Can some body please tell me what does that word (NULL) mean here before my name.

Its okay when I had IP my address was showing wrong
But when it was desicon made they corrected my address
Which I had corrected through letter later on
You might not have sur name
Did you put given name coloum empty and filled sur name with your full name
In this case bar code scanner take null value
Now they have corrected

Hi vermas,
I got that document from Ottawa before going to India to get married. Ottawa takes 2-3 weeks to send this document. I even got it attested from the Indian embassy in Toronto. But it was all NO use.
The asshole at the Registrar's office in Gurgaon was like I cannot take a document from Canada. After breaking my head with him and telling him that I have it attested etc he did not
agree. Finally I went to the Canadian embassy in Delhi and got the same document in 15 minutes.

So yes, you do need it. But to save yourself the hassle just go to the Canadian embassy in delhi and get it.

PS: congrats to everyone getting PPR/DM etc

Thanks for your response.

1- What happens if I don't declare that I live in Canada? I will take my Adhaar, Election, PAN Cards and 10th certificate (as proof of birth date) besides other documents required for registration of marriage.

2- Who/which section did you contact at the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi? Did you pay any fee? How much?

One more week gone .....no update

NDVO is definitely closed on 26 Jan as its Indian National holiday. Moreover Obama will be in town and in that area. US Embassy and hotel where he will be staying are within 1 KM radius.

Flying out Monday January 26, 2015.
