Hi Guyz,
I want to know how the travel history impacts your file. I am a frequent traveller and has travelled more than 15 countries for work. My file was sent to NDVO on 03 sep 14. Also does NDVO contact applicant individually as currently I am out of India and not going to return back before April.
Guyz - please guide me
Thanks in advance.

Hey Sheen just a question, your application seems to have gone through very fast. Can you provide some info on how straight forward it was so we can compare it to ours?

Thanks!

is it true if a file is kept long in canada for stage 1 it is faster on stage 2 at VO?

Hey
Could u tell me how to apply for ATIP notes

You can order GCMS notes online. Any one living in Canada can order these notes. So you or your spouse, whoever is in Canada, as long as they have a Canadian mailing address, they can make the request.
You should order these notes if there is unusually long delay or you want to see if you are in the interview queue and the reason for it etc.

Easiest way is to go to this link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

1. Download the consent form IMM 5744. It should be signed by you and your spouse in India.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

2. Now initiate the online request at top of link posted above. Fill in the information and proceed through the application.

3. When it says to upload the consent form, upload the above signed consent form.

4. Before submission it will ask about payment. You can use credit card. Fee is 5$

The process is now complete and you will receive notes in 20 to 40 days.

i guess so, But In Canada, they verify all record who is sponsoring. means determined the eligibility for the person who is living in Canada... I dont think so its impacting time...less in canada more in India or vise versa.

Nothing like that I guess. my sponsorship was delayed like 20 days and got ppr request as everyone is getting for May and june...so not that quick but yeah got it atleast :)

Travel history can impact your file processing but it all depend upon the discretion of Visa officer as to what he thinks about it. Also how long your stay was in those countries..more than 6 months?? then you will need PCC too. if not that long then I don't think it matters. Also if you are saying that you won't be in India until April then you should have your contact number with you if they call for anything. No one can guarantee if they will call or not. keep checking your emails and online status to know what exactly is going on.
