Yeah sheen it's true see previous posts and I updated DM and Ppr in spreadsheet who got DM and Ppr (June applicants) and my friend got visa on 24th dec she is 12th June applicant

I have a few questions for only the people who have experience with notes.

On my notes, it states that Eligibility, Criminality and Medical are all Passed. Remedical was requested on the day the visa officer "passed" the eligiblity since they were expired. I assume this means no interview? They received the re-medical results in mid November which they passed and until NOV 28 (notes ordered) there is no update for Security. How long will it take for them to start security?

Is there anything I should be looking at in my notes. Anything you could point out in general that I should pay attention to that will give me a better overall picture of what is going on with my application? No travel history and clean record.

I'm new to this forum. Glad to see many people around whom I could share and gain experiences with. I've to start spousal immigration process in January and to facilitate a smooth file I'm reading relevant material.
One thing that is bothering me and my spouse is the Police Clearance Certificate. Recently, delhi police has started handing out online PCC and phasing out the manual document they used to provide before. None of the people/forums/articles/CIC website mention anything about it.
Has anyone faced a similar problem yet? Will CIC accept an online issued PCC? Any guidance is appreciated!

In process is an indication that they are satisfied with the proof of relationship that you have provided and they find it compatible, so there is no chance of interview after "in process". Now they would do the criminality and background check, at that point it would change to DM.

I am not sure about how it works out in Delhi. It is generally obtained from the passport office, you need to apply on the passport office site and take an appointment at the pp office. Once they are done with your checking, they would than send it to your area police station, where the officer would check your docs and send your report to pp office. Than pp office would send you an sms to collect your PCC. Takes about 10-15 days.

Well its normal procedure, to get DM and than PPR. Sometimes some people get PPR before DM because it takes time to change the ecas status, and so before the status changes to DM, they get their PPR email. After DM you get PPR in about 10 days. So be happy and start your preparations. And yes DM means that a Decision has been made on your file and you would get your visa very soon.

So at the end of it celebrate and drink as much as you want to. ;D

ahh Man What a Negativity...Its never happened in history ...negative decision only after interview...if you fail in interview....you got visa...start countings list of things whoever is travelling

Thanks Karan for clarifying with me! I am planning to take my wife back with me when I go to Canada by end of Jan....Hope we recieve PPR soon so that I don't need to reschedule my return ticket.
