NEW DELHI SPOUSE SPONSORE - 2014 APPLICANTS

My situation is I applied for spouse sponsor for my wife on May mid and got In Process from 3rd Nov. Its almost one and half month now and I am kind of worried what wrong happening . Only thing is that , I applied her TRV before applying PR and it got rejected saying relation in Canada. Intially when I submitted the PR application , I missed that poit , so I mailed later mentioning the rejection of TRV and the reason
Any idea , this TRV denial may cause any problem in PR sponsorship and is it any red flag and is that the reason it is taking long time for In Process status?

I don't think that is a problem. I applied twice for TRV before the PR for my wife and got it rejected. I am also May applicant. We got a phone call on Nov 1st saying processing is almost complete but medical is expiring, will you fly right now? My wife couldn't say yes, so they sent us letter for remedical. But the officer said that basically everything is okay except medicals in our file. So, looks like TRV refusal was not an issue. Don't worry, I'm also In Process since Nov 1st. I think they went away on christmas vacations. I'm only expecting something in January now - I don't think much work will be done during Christmas slowdown.

I agree. TRV doesn't effect PR process.

When you applied her TRV you had given all correct information that she is married to you...although you never gets TRV when one of very very closet member living in Canada and you got no one living back there in India (Parents does not come in your first family)....So your wife is your family and obviously you wife had extremely more ties in Canada rather than India...so those who apply TRV is total time wasting ...my sister living in USA she has hired a lawer..I had a chat with him...he said you can better apply TRV when you are single because after marriage visa chance reduces so much ..the only way to get TRV is if you have your own kids living in India and you have not applied his/her visa together...thats tough too since you can sponsor kid later on
