Hi Guys,

I filed my Spousal Sponsorship application in the last week of June 2014 to Mississauga Visa office.

Mississauga office received my application on July 4th, 2014.

AOR was Received on Aug 25th, 2014 and decision was made on my Sponsorship Application.

Permanent Residence Application Status on ECAS shows (Application Received) and also Medical results have been received

Sep 8th I received request to pay right to permanent residence fee and also police clearance certificate.

I am coming to India in last week of December for a 4 week vacation, can i expect everything to be completed before i leave India in 3rd week of Jan 2015?

Going by this can any one guess when would i be seeing "In Process" status updated and Passport request?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Avneet...... don't worry.... i am sure that you will get the date soon and everything will be over in a blink..... when it starts to happen...it just happens fast.....

Also, one of my colleague here got interview date for his wife. his application was in january.... his interview date is 19th nov.... they asked him to be on the phone while they are taking the interview of his wife.....

long story short..... you will hear something very soon..... JAI MATA DI....

i did...
take the letter from the RTO where u obtained ur licence.. no big deal... then when u take the G1 WRITTEN TEST in canada submit that document along with ur valid original indian driving licence at the drivetest canada centre.. u must submit the licence and letter (which will be a dot-matrix printed doc with ur scanned photo - get it stamped and signed by the RTO officer) at the time of taking the G1 written test. once u do that, ur experience will be added and u might be allowed to take the G DRIVING LICENCE TEST w/o waiting period or even without taking the G2.

but be advised. G is very difficult too pass and if u r taking it directly without G2 chances are ur examiner will be extra strict. also take a training course once u get ur G1. that helps reduce ur car's insurance and prepares u better for the test.. i passed in the first attempt and the course was helpful.

hey anybody know about pcc ?
somebody told me it's only valid for 3 months i got my pcc in (begining)april and my husband applied in beg of july is it normal ?
i hope u guys help me
