Hi , everybody actually i have one concern that my wife recieved her visa but her only first name and middle name is printed on visa , and on her passport her full name is printed including first name , middle and last . Is it normal ???? I mean to say her last name is missing on visa ass well as on confirmation of permanent resident . Is it normal , is it ok ???

Hi Neethu , To my understanding, you can submit your passport at any vfs office, they will forward it to New Delhi Office, and returns passport where you specify to.

I received an email asking for passport. They updated the status on ECAS at the same time.

Friday81 how did you see DM, did it come as email, or is it status update on ECAS?

I think you are still waiting to get approved as Sponsor.. so once you get your SA from that date you can expect anything between 4-6 months to get an IP. it all depends on your case.... some ppl are getting visa within 6 months some are still waiting even after a year.. so no one can guess how much time.. we can just assume...

You are good as long as you arrive in Canada before visa expiry.. I don't know why you are concerned about coming late... visa expiry date is for making sure the person arrives in the country within the specified time.. and you are planning to come within the time so need not have to worry bro... relax enjoy wedding and india.. you gonna miss it after that.. lol

My father landed on the 12 april 2013...his visa expiry was 14 april 2013...no probs

File applied- 14 may 2014
Visa office - my husband applied from Canada
File transfer - from Ottawa to New Delhi on 15 July 2014
In process from 16 October .
Decision made - waiting
Ppr- waiting

Cool....i am may 22..still AR MR..hope something will turn up this or next week
