How long was your IP Status for... Mine has been a month and still in IP Status.

My wife finally got the passport back.

PPR: Sept 22
PP submission: Sept 23
PP received: Oct 14

i was in the same boat. You could try doing an MP inquiry. MP will need your wife name, DOB, File number etc.. I was DM for 3 weeks till i asked MP inquiry and then i got the PPR. Just a suggestion.

I don't know if this makes any sense at all anymore. April 2nd week applicants are getting their passports back stamped with Visa and Feb-March applicants are still in the status of "In Process". I've been "In Process" for over a month now (Sept 12th). I wonder if one will have any bit of sanity left trying to estimate when an application would get finalized, forget about all the plans and everything.

Hey as discussed earlier I still didn't receive my ppr DM received on 30th sept 2014... Even m a march applicant.
Could you plz suggest ??? Also m not aware of mp enquiry...could you plz explain a lil bot it ?

Hi, I dont think so, atleast I havent received any status changes emails. The only emails i got were - sponsor approval, AR (right after file transfer) and PPR. I just checked once a week.

it is tuff for Jan applications, but these days it seems to be going faster. I applied in Jan and i got DM in Aug. then almost 2 months till i got PPR (October). now you know how i feel. Some applicants are getting PPR in less than 7 amonths so i think the process is getting faster. even they are late in updating the files online. I got IP since Aug 19 and the status changed on Aug 23. Dont loose hope guys. Your time will come soon and when it comes be ready to submit everything quick. Dont delay. After PPR, you have 1 month to submit everything. After Visa you have 3 months to come to Canada

MP = Member of Parliment. Depending on where you live, you can find out who your MP is by your postal code. here is the link to find who they are:

Once you find your MP, write them a nice email telling them your situation (explain about the DM since date). They will email you requesting the detail about your file and then will inquiry. They will probably get a auto reply back about your inquiry. this is what i got:

"This refers to your enquiry received at the visa office in New Delhi.

Please be advised that further instructions will soon be forwarded to the applicant. Until then, she is requested to await our contact.
