i didnt get my DM for 1 entire month. it was DM on Aug 25. DIdnt get PPR till sept 23. I know it sucks, but i guess just need to wait. honestly i dont know if the things i did made it slow down.

I did case specific inquiry, emails etc. So maybe i would suggest just waiting. i called CIC, they also suggested that after DM waiting 3wks before sending emails and requesting for update.

If you did your applications through a lawyer, they will be getting the emails.

i agree with you Posh. Very tough to be away from spouse. I would think that CIC would make it easier for us, but what can we do. Couple of people abused the system. There was an investigation last year and they found that there was a couple of fake marriages (some from India). CIC doesnt want ppl to abuse the system. Hence the wait. Dont worry if you are on DM, then your 90% there. Just PPR request and then receiving your Passport. Almost there.

This whole immigration process is very slow. I don't know much more time till I finally get the visa, seriously no idea.. we should get the visa ASAP, .. patience Ki band baja di

my status changed to DM on saturday.
but till today no ppr so i am confused about where NDVO send ppr request. whether to lawyer or to applicant .

Congrats for DM dear..
Dnt worry you will get PPR ina day or two..
They usually send PPR request to both applicant and lawyer..

Each time I see forum lately, I feel so frustrated. I am happy for those who got IP,DM,PPR and Visa. However, it is so frustrating and disappointing as being March,2014 applicant I haven't heard anything yet! I feel like I am left behind and want to cry so hard.

My husband had USA visitor visa refused in 2013. We got married and applied in 2014. 'Refusal of USA visa' can be an issue for delaying in his process?? Is anyone riding the same boat?? Or anyone had same kind of issue and got visa??
Please advise. I feel so sad and lonely.

Everyone says, 'everything happens for a reason'. But I can not tune myself positive since last 2 days. Can not see anything happening good and reasonable in life!! This waiting sucks when I see everyone's file is moving fast and I am stuck there!!

Hey dear, dpn't be soo sad..im in the same boat as yours..I am March 27th Applicant, n my medical too has not been updated..I think they are picking the files randomly or the visa officer who has got the lot for March Files is too lazy and it busy in celebrating Dussehara and Diwali.. most of the march applicants are waiting...dnt worry, its just few more days. and we will get our visa too..Stay positive.

Hi Avneet, I am right now in Canada..I am more concerned about my medicals..mujhe aisa lag rha hai k kahi Hospital wale medical result bhejna to nahi bhool gaye although we had submitted proof of Medical recipt.ours is a straight forward case and we have submitted enough docs and Pics but NDVO can bring any surprises Yeah, i will wait for 1 more week and will mail NVDO asking about Medicals..or wat do u suggest? should i mail them right now? do they care to respond even? as the speed with which they are clearing the files m preety sure that u will be in Canada by the end of this year..Don't worry.

Hi Avneet, I am right now in Canada..I am more concerned about my medicals..mujhe aisa lag rha hai k kahi Hospital wale medical result bhejna to nahi bhool gaye although we had submitted proof of Medical recipt.ours is a straight forward case and we have submitted enough docs and Pics but NDVO can bring any surprises Yeah, i will wait for 1 more week and will mail NVDO asking about Medicals..or wat do u suggest? should i mail them right now? do they care to respond even? as the speed with which they are clearing the files m preety sure that u will be in Canada by the end of this year..Don't worry.
