I want to thank all the members of this forum. I was not very active user but whenever I felt down and impatience,I used to come in this forum,and that gave me hope and strength to wait. You guys are awesome. I wish all of you a speedy visa. I love how people respect and back up everyone here. I feel sad for leaving this forum but same time I'm happy too. Just an update: my husband's passport has been despatched from new delhi visa office and should soon arrive at the ahemdabad vfs Centre...hoping by tomorrow fingers crossed...

We applied in april 2014 and file tranferred to NDVO on 26 june 2014 and on 26th sept my ECAS shows "we have started processing your application"
Any idea how long will it take for the paasport request. kindly advise..

Generally DM and PPR will take 30 days...
Can you please share ur timeline and when they started procesing your applicantion??

I didn't read 2013 forum in depth to come to an understanding as to when applications are flagged down for an interview?

Does it happen before an application goes into the status of "In-Process" or can it also happen post "In-Process" status? Which would also explain why some applications are stuck in "In-Process" for over a month or so?

Side note, Kan_Sri any updates on your side? Any change in the status of your application?

hello friends today i got decision made and PPR
I have a question that in ppr they mentioned about VFS
Can we submit in any closest VFS office or only NDVO office
please advise

You can submit to the closest vfs office...literally its only taking 4 to 5 days for the passport to get stamped and return to us. Plus its safe.
