Hello there , don't be disheartened . many applicants are in the same situation you are in,infact some jan applicants still have their ecas showing as application received . just hang in there !

Finally the first OMG!! moment... ecas updated today... Application went IN PROCESS from September 19, 2014

Without you all maintaining patience would be impossible! Wish each one of you get quick IPs, DMs,Visa.

Festive season is approaching Navratres, Duraga pooja(main festival for Bengolies), karva chauth, dussehra, diwali.... I have a strong gut feeling that NDVO wud try to reunify the families before these festivals. May be this is the reason that there are so many IPs and blve me all of them wud get DM/Visa before most of the main festivals. On human grounds, they myt be aiming for getting done with as much files as possible, before the festivals.
That is why most of the straight forward cases(Jan to April ) have been picked up for IPs.

Also i think sooner or later but they have already realized this fact that PPR after DM is waste of time and better process is to have PPR while the status is 'IP'(saves lot of time) , hence we already see a applicant among us getting PPR while in IP status
