That's a great news. But this sounds weird, as how can they skip Nov and directly reach December. However, good news for us

May be there are already many with 'In Process' Status for Nov and Dec 2013.... we don't have all NDVO cases in this forum .... so we can never be sure !!!!! Hope for Good

Hwy guys,

I am periodically following this thread as I have applied in April 2014 and my file is in NDVO now.

Just wanted to give heads up to those people who in Canada and are waiting for the email from NDVO (After sponsorship approval).

I found this email lying in my JUNK/SPAM emails folder for past 15 days. Yes ! The email from NDVO went into the SPAM folder and never came into the inbox.

This happened bcos of the new Anti-Spam legislation in Canada which does not allow any institution to send emails to individuals unless we have accepted them as legitimate party.

So in case if you are scratching ur head for the email, look no beyond ur SPAM folder in email.


Please note: This largely applies to only those who are in Canada !

Can you please tell us what kind of e-mail was it. I am a January applicant and keep checking my spam box frequently but haven't seen any mail from NDVO except AOR.

Hi all

Some one pls help me..

I am a permenant resident of canada for the past two years. I got married on May 1st 2014. And i applied for my wive's spousal sponsorship by courier on 26th May 2014. It is despatched at case processing centre as per tracking documents

We have done a great mistake, that we didnt add the medical report with the application. Will it be rejected?

Have u got any idea of this..?

I have'nt received any mails regardings this...

How can i track the processing?

Official wesite of CIC says that they are working with the applications received on May 16th 2014 (first stage)

Will my wife be cld for medical test later or will it b rejected?

Some one pls help.. :-(

Hi Thomas,

Firstly relax. Nothing wrong is going to happen to you application. Can you please tell me did you get the medical done or not? If not, then I would suggest you to get it done and once you receive AOR from CIC, stating your file has been transferred, mail the e-copy of your medical report to the NDVO (address would be mentioned in the mail itself). At CIC (Canada) level, they only check Sponsor's eligibility, so you still have time to send it across.

Any news about PPR? Limits yaar, they have started processing December now and still no evidence of PPR.

7 months of a year is gonn and still they didn't open our files. God knows what gonna happen next. Anybody got ppr??!

A friend of mine (2013 applicant under skilled worker )was requested for his PPR by NDVO only after his ecas showed DM .He got his stamped passport back on the 9th day .Still don't understand what NDVO is upto ?Good to hear someone from 03rd dec2013 status changed to IP . some ray of hope atleast ! Frustrated to the core..

Hey Sakshi..I am doing good, thank you! How about you? Please send the docs like your husbands tickets, boarding passes, trip pics, gift receipts and other things (if any), put it in a parcel, mention your file number over it and send it to NDVO address. Hope this helps!

No yaar,,,not 6months, it has been already 6 months i have put my file.n my application status is jst "Received ur file" and medical done"so i guess may be 10

Nitya, if you go by 10 months calculation, DM date comes out to be Oct-Nov'14 for Jan-Feb'14 applicants and not Dec. We are trying to be positive as much as we can. Here, even one day matters.
