Keep ur count in that way, month to month. However a clear case file without any red flag seems to be completed in 10 months.

Ntvnaveen that sounds about right some used to get it quicker but there current trends so slow

Also jus wanted to make sure I applied in April and the file was transferred in June as well. Online it says app received April 11th would that make me an April applicant. There is a bit of confusion about this but looking at last year's dates getting IP it makes sense to go with April.

Please advise

Yes we are April applicants for sure...I don't know that delay from CIC to transfer the file might make any difference but don't tell me yar I am a June applicant.Thats scary

Ahaha I kno I m jus looking at the 2013 thread everyday to see how far they are so they can start with 2014 faster even the ppr request is latter so I don't know the procedure of how long it will take the passport to get to them than they stamp it send it back. I have a feeling that will be a long process. At least for 2013 they had the passports in advance.

This forum gives a lot of hope otherwise I bet have of us would be in depression.

Stamping of Visa for 2014 may take Sep-Oct but i think you can never say about PPR. You never know what trend are they going to follow for 2014 cases. Not sure why there have been no PPR for 2014 yet but this makes me feel like they have some new trend/procedure for us.

BTW, i heard/read H1B holder can apply for fast track Canadian PR. Can anybody tell me how much time and fees does that that way of PR involves??

That is true!!!! FORUM is real help for sure but if have to say this 'WAIT' that all of us are doing is making this Forum addiction for many ... i am shamelessly accepting this for myself these days .... :-[ :-[

Ye thats right i guess they will send PPR at last when all processing from their side is done, so we dnt have to wait for passport (with Stamping) for too long, It will be return within 1 month, where as Applicant of 2013, have to wait their passport for 6mnths..


but i guess it will not happened to us .. hopefully

That is ryt ... 2012 cases also used to get PPR in 5-6 months or their application filed and PP back with Visa in max 2 months. Total 7.5 months back in 2012 was too much of delay as avg use to be 6.5 months. I m sure on this i have a fren who was 2012 case.

2013, may be due to strike got delayed.

But some time i feel PPR at the end of process would not help either. When there are chances of PPR any time soon or late you anyway can not travel abroad. If they ask for PP may be in our 5-6 months like 2012 , it is much better...( but not like 2013 cases where PPR was in 2 months) as you at least feel that process 'FLOW' and continuity is there.

Lets see, already 6 months over with the application, hope they ask for ppr soon, dont know when will 2014 applicants get their visa, by seeing 2013 forum it seems ppr would be around sep or so:/

Well does in process status change after asking passport? Before ppr the ecas does not change to in process???

I did get one update it says medical results have been received in ecas for my wife. Anyone else also get that today?

My ecas still shows only application received. Its been more than a month for my file transfer. Why medical received is not updated on my ecas yet??? Is this normal???

Hey Gagan looking at some posts not everyone got medicals received only some were updated it's weird I don't know how they work
