Someone posted this link earlier, In New Delhi NDVO, if you see Sept has only 120 applications (spouse, Enterprenuer, parents_ etc et all). The overall trend of last year is a spike in the number of applications during Feb-Jun. in Sept 109 of them are Spousal-Parents & children. So we could look forward to speedy processing in terms of turn around time.

i dont know squat about NDVO operations, but i am hopeful!!

Generally during Dec Jan...lot of NRIs go to India for marriage...and gathering docs take 2 to three months may be due to that...processing is delayed

hey roopa.
What i learnt from different websites and forums is that i you apply for a TRV just to visit your spouse they wont approve it. They need different reasons as well lke attending a wedding etc.
I am sure you collected all or most of these but still
1. a vacation letter from your job that you are going on a paid leave to travel abroad is always helfull
2. a return flight ticket confirming them that you will come back after your visa expires.
3. a loaded bank account, if possible proof of property of vehicle always helps.

I have posted this link recently and they were supposed to update it quarterly. I hope if they update it we will exactly know how many applications were sent last year Q4 and this year Q1.

Many people are predicting.... it could take another 2-3 months to complete the backlog acording to current trends...

It is been quite all week, 2013 people have not heard from NDVO since quick inprocess for few Aug applicantsmonday on . There are a very few Aug applicants pending, Sept - Dec are less applicants on this forum. Chantilocal's data link is updated till Sept, we can wait for an update this week or next. We wil know how many applicants have got in from Oct - Dec. Hopefully the trend is the same and they all get sppedy visas. You would be up next.

AOR2 received from NDVO on April 14, 2014(asking for PCC and landing fees-both submitted along with application)

I am waiting for passport to be called...

We applied ourselves without using a representative. In our case, sponsor received AOR1 and sponsored person received AOR2. I think in your case your representative will receive all communications.

Oh god... CIC has changed the AOR1 processing days to 55......not a good sign...
