Very nice job pratik021, I think you are bang on with the process.

If you have not provided email addresses (sponsor's or sponsored person's), then you will get a letter in the post instead. For updates at Mississauga, the sponsor will get the letter and for updates at NDVO, the sponsored person will get the letter.

According to 2013 forum, NDVO is currently processing applications received in Aug and Sep. So I guess within next 2-3 months they will reach January 2014.

Hello Friends,

CIC Mississauga is running very very slow. Processing time for sponsor approval is 52 days now. They are working on application received on 7th April.

I send my application on 7th April and canada post shows they received on 9th April.

yes.. its very sad that the processing times at CIC Mississauga has changed from 47 to 52 days now... it used to be around 28 days before.. i hope they come back to these timelines..

Yes Raj, It use to be 28 days in may but after that they changes to 40 and than 44 and than 47 and now its 52.
Hope they will back on track soon.

Is any1 there who has aplied 4 work permit 4 live in Caregiver? I hv aplied on 23 april nd on 29 april got a letr frn Cic chd stating dat its procesing time is 16 months:-(. How long time it wil hv? so any1 in same situation pz reply. PZ enlighten som. Thnx

Hi, i hav a question. For da second AOR frm NDVO u said dey snd email to da applicant bt i did nt mention ma email on any of da forms den hw vil dey let me knw. Thanks in advance.

In that case, I think you will get all update on your Sponsored Person OR you might get regular post mail from NDVO. I am not 100% sure, confirm it with another members or CIC site.

But as per my knowledge, all applicant also have to put all contact information with phone number and email address when any one filling forms.

Wonder does CIC realises that people are away from their respective spouses because of their slow working nature, acc to them they receive high volume...but dont they charge alot of money for same......if you are not from south asia you are lucky person...aargh...
since i submitted my application on may 22nd so i was hoping 22nd june but when i read comments probably 47 or 52 days ..im like whoa !!!

I know bro these fuckin idiots don't do anything like it's so slow nd even wen it gets to NDVO same shit they won't get it done any faster one thing we do have is that as days pass it will be less time at NDVO because there will be less files going to them

hi everyone. I finally received my gcms notes and it turns out they had the wrong email address the entire time. passport was requested January 27 we are sending it out now. also my hubby had been undergoing tb treatment and has done his final exam after the treatment. apparently the sputum test results will take two more months. my notes say that all other categories have not yet been started. I'm feeling extremely down. does anyone know if this is normal at this stage in the application? will they only start the rest of the check once they received the final medical report? what might this mean for my timeline. I'm feeLing so depressed cause I don't know what to expect. the worst part is I had emailed them inquiring if they had the right email address months ago with no response. Idid an mp request and she told me they had the right one. finally I find out today all this was useless since they had the wrong one after all

Finally i got my 1st AOR today after long wait. My file was received on 9th April according to canada post.
