this is crazy! it's unbelievably longer then it was before. ppl in September were receiving ppr in October. I'm worried that this is indicating how much longer the application will take. its been over 3 months as opposed to 1 :(

or this maybe a change in process where instead of requesting passport at an early stage and then keeping it for 7-8 months they want to ask for it at a later date...but we can just make assumptions :)

Hello - I am new to this forum although registered last year. Let me tell you that I have read almost all posts in this topic within last two days ;). Hats off to all for exchanging views as I will be applying within a month or so as my spouse is trying to get the documents ready.

I got married in November 2013 (Pakistan) as my spouse was there at the time however is an Indian National.

I am thinking of getting her to apply for visit visa to come to visit me here for couple months as I can only go visit her for 2 to 3 weeks only during vacation. I have gotten mixed views but not sure why they would reject.

Also, is it better to apply for visit visa before applying for Sponsorship or after?

Thanks!

hi all,
All the people who got their AOR but no PPR, there is nothing to worry as the VO is asking for pp late coz the office is busy...its been two and a half mths that I also didn't get ppr but someone in Canada told thet its going to take little long bcoz of the rush...Also if lot of ppl since Jan and so on are waiting for ppr, so it seems the visa process is different for us
