Hello guys,
Do you remember In my last post I had wrote why some of the IP timelines are different.
And they call some people for an interview..
I also wrote that their criteria of processing application is totally different for applicants
Some applicant may get visa after one month of IP and some IP will stuck for three months
And some will get in 7 days after IP

And even some people who are genuine may stuck at ar/mr status with interview.
Those people who stuck for an interview always think why me only?
What was wrong in my application?
You can see my screen shot below in detail processing of Spouse application.
It is not really our fault its the computer who does this or you can call it luck....

What a weird way of Quality assurance :(

I guess timeline is around 6.5-7 months now for straight forward cases?

If only CIC in mississauga didnt take 81 days... >:( >:( :( :( :( :(

I was going through ATIP notes which I received and realized that someone touched the file in November and asked the supervisor for Interview Waiver. Then supervisor touched the file on Dec.12th (the day status: in process) and has notes saying waiver accepted and I'm satisfied with the relationship-Eligibility passed - RFV check please. that means ready for visa. so it took them 1 month to send a letter for passport request although notes said ready for visa.

So the bottom-line is you never know who is working on your and how long they will take to take decision.

I am also eagerly waiting for Notes to get some information.....Should get it by Feb 6th. Praying for no interview and hoping they find the relationship genuine.

Does anyone know if they also do inquiries in the city where the sponsored person lives? Can this cause delays to application?

Hardly there is anything regarding Sponsor after sponsorship is approved. So whatever is delaying the process is for Applicant (the person who is in India). It can be travel history, criminal background, political links, family ties. Also your compatibility as in culture, education, age etc.

Thanks Pamma. My husban has lived in London for 2 years but we did provided the police clearance from UK as well. Not sure if that is reason for delay.

Running out of ideas....I guess i need to keep myself as much busy as possible to get my mind to stop thinking about it. It is making me go crazy....:( :(

Sometimes Immigration just don't make sense...

Hi Guys,

BAD *censored word*ING NEWS!

I did MP enquiry yesterday and got an answer today that my file is waiting for interview. They have not scheduled it yet but will contact me when they schedule a date.

I am so upset I can't even explain in words. My wife will have to go for an interview and I have to recollect all the proofs again. I have even stopped collecting the phone records and everything. This is bull*censored word*!

Hi Guyz,
I want to know how the travel history impacts your file. I am a frequent traveller and has travelled more than 15 countries for work. My file was sent to NDVO on 03 sep 14. Also does NDVO contact applicant individually as currently I am out of India and not going to return back before April.
Guyz - please guide me
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Preetinder

At least you got to know before hand what is going on with your file and you can prepare for interview before hand. Having said that I fail to understand why such a long wait for interview....taking more than an year to process a file is ridiculous. This process use to take only 4-6 months!

Wish you all the Best!

Sorry for late update, but my husband received passport back with visa stamp on January 12, 2015. Thank you everyone for your support and help.....Hope waiting games ends for everyone soon!
