Hello,
I am living in Canada and my wife in India. We applied for visa end of April and the file was sent to NDVO August 5. Can my wife leave the country to go on vacation with her family? They are planning to go to Dubai..Your help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Going on a vacation is fine and I don't see why there will be a problem? only thing is that if she is suppose to get a phone call from NDVO in that time she won't be able to receive it and that can delay your process. Also if she gets an email to submit passport than she will have to do it within 30days, if the vacation is not that long and if you want to risk it than its all good.

In process since November 28, 2014. No update as yet.
Whats the expected time frame for you guyz??

How to update the timelines on left hand side?

You need to submit 10 posts here so that you can make your profile. just try and post and then go to your profile to update details.

Thanks so much!!!

Another question is how to check average timelines of status updates?

I mean the excel attached in the forum and if thats real....becos in many cases i have noticed outstanding timelines

What are the chances of getting visit visa while spousal sponsorship visa is in process.

Further if there is any effect (negative) after applying visit visa while spousal sponsorship application is in process.

Doesn't NVDO usually e-mail instead of calling? Wouldn't they call for an interview if they have questions to ask?

Get the international roaming on her number all phone number of India work in Dubai..and also I would suggest not to go for long like over 2 weeks...there are high chances that your wife will get PPR from embassy in JAN
In place of her you keep checking her email all spam, Junk folders and also ECAS Status

Does anyone know how long A case should can be in IP before we get a mp inquiry, or does the entire case have to wait 15months before we ask? Ip since dec 3, Im not exactly sure for what kind of timeline to expect, I understand every case is different, but there must be some sort or average or approx. from ip to ppr???
