i had heart in my mouth!! but yea, PPR and PR approved are not from New Delhi NDVO - jan applicants. Ours is working on Sept applicants, Sept 30 applicant got a call yesterday! So soon it would be Oct!!

i got my email about my application transferred to Delhi on 26 may 2014. can anyone plz guide me how to check my application status online. coz m unable to do that.

If you haven' t recived aor from delhi yet you can login inti ecas using ur sponsorer's uci n details.

what are your thoughts on the downsides of applying for a TRV? Would there be more scrutiny in the original PR application if the TRV is refused? If TRV is issued (and assuming that they dont ask for your passport (PPR) during the visit to canada), then do we have to submit additional paper work to NDVO as an addendum to the original application, notifiying them the visit was made?

I asked my lawyer and couple of other people who got visas and applied trv during their file, everybody said this wont add up as a red flag. But chances are less that you will recieve it.
Two of my friends applied in march after submitting their files and both of them got it. So I am even thinking abput this . Rest its your choice.

Thanks for the swift response. Even i've heard that its not a huge deal. However, i am unsure about whether or not a few forms need to be resubmitted to NDVO after the visit. I remember that the PR application had questions that asked whether or not the applicant had visited canada before.

Hi guys, there are ways u can check ur ecas online.
The first one is with sponsor's UCI number nd details.
The second one with applicant's UCI number issued by ndvo nd applicant's details.
Thirdly with the file number and applicant's details.
U all may knw the first two bt sm ppl say they cant login with file numbr, so it can b logged in with applicant's details only. Hope this vil help u.

I guess no choice... bad timing for everything...but may be God has different way of telling us what is right ..and we perceive that as wrong.

Hey Sakshi we have to wait still to get an update they let you know if they need any paper work etc. From here on in

Passport requests are also at a latter stage viewing the older posts so we have to wait nd see for now

Some of the January 2014 Outland applicants who got PPR is from Manila visa office. I checked the processing time for Manila – Philippines visa office, It is 14 months. Ours is 13 months and still behind. Interesting.

It looks like Manila VO has done a good job with catch up of their outstanding applications. Hopefully, NDVO does the same soon.
